The Rudy Giuliani Exploratory Committee today announced that Congressman Pete Sessions and former Congresswoman Susan Molinari are supporting Mayor Rudy Giuliani to be the next President of the United States. Both will take active roles aiding Giuliani’s exploratory efforts, with Sessions working to build support in the House and Molinari serving as both Senior Advisor and Chairman of Washington outreach.
In announcing their endorsement, Sessions and Molinari praised Giuliani’s proven leadership.
“I’m supporting Mayor Giuliani for President because he has the experience, record of results and vision to unite our country during these uncertain times. I’m honored to be a part of his team and will work hard to elect Rudy Giuliani as the next President of the United States,” said Congressman Pete Sessions.
Congresswoman Susan Molinari stated, “I’ve seen the results of Mayor Giuliani’s leadership – cutting taxes, transforming a historic deficit into a multi-billion dollar surplus and reducing crime. Without a doubt, Rudy Giuliani is the demonstrated leader America needs to tackle difficult challenges and move our country forward.”
Mayor Rudy Giuliani thanked both Congressman Sessions and former Congresswoman Molinari for their support. “I’m honored to have the support of two Republican leaders who have made a real difference as public servants.”
Why?
Of course she was an advocate for the Contract with America . . . was there any GOP House member in 1994 who WASN'T on board?

The support of Conservative Congressman Sessions says alot!
All the other issues are meaningless if the Jihadists blow us up.....so for me....leadership in the War on Terror is the primary issue!
RUDY has demonstrated that leadership and he can articulate very well why we must fight the Islamofacsists before they destroy our civilization!
And as a former New Yorker, I know how he 'turned around' the city the previous Dem Mayors had almost destroyed.
He's tough on crime, cut taxes & welfare, and will appoint strict constructionist judges.
And he can beat Hillary Chavez!

Comparing guys like Arlen and Giuliani to REAL flaming liberals just makes one look silly. Fortunately, politicians like Pete Sessions are astute enough to see the difference.

Go back to 1994. I was a congressional aide in 1995 after the Republican sweep. I remember she was a member of the House then. If I remember correctly she was swept in with all the conservatives in the 94 election.

Listen, if being in the military were necessary to be president then FDR should never have been elected. If I wanted someone with combat experience I would NOT have voted for George Bush but would have voted for John Kerry because Bush had no combat experience and had a VP who was deferred. I should never had voted for Reagan because he was stationed in Hollywood because of his eyesight and never had combat experience. But I voted for both George Bush and Reagan twice. So being in the military does not mean you are automatically qualified to be president. If that's the case then Kerry should have won over Bush. Thank god he didn't.

The only rating that's important to me is the one I get from God, so I can't support ANYONE who would murder a precious little baby in front of Him, lest I be Judged for their sin too!
Actually she was a front line advocate for the Contract. I believe her and her future husband were both strong on-air advocates for Newt.
BTW, so what that most if not all GOP supported the Contract. Is that supposed to make her support less valid?

I've yet to find the complete vulnerability file that he lost late last year. Have you seen it anywhere? I know that the press had it and published limited excerpts, but I've never seen it in its entirety.

If you're trying to imply that Guy Molinari is a Spitzer supporter because his partner is, I'd like to see your proof. Guy Molinari as Borough President was a staunch Conservative Republican and did a great job on Staten Island. He was a great supporter of Giuliani while he was Mayor of NYC.

I am a longtime Bush supporter from 1994 forward and after what I read on a link yesterday that was posted about something that was said about then Gov Bush in Aug 2000, it is best I don't comment on anything that is put up by people that don't like Rudy.
Just suffice it to say that we have a difference of opinion on what a Rudy win in the primary and in the general would do for Republican Conservatives. Note I said REPUBLICAN.
Some of you need to go back and read the history of Conservatism. I have studied it for years along with the Administrations of various President's including President Reagan and political campaigns.
If you can't see the difference between those two and Lincoln Chaffe or Kerry or Kennedy then you are beyond hope.
