Of course she was an advocate for the Contract with America . . . was there any GOP House member in 1994 who WASN'T on board? Actually she was a front line advocate for the Contract. I believe her and her future husband were both strong on-air advocates for Newt.
BTW, so what that most if not all GOP supported the Contract. Is that supposed to make her support less valid?

She was a left-wing dope for the most part, and cemented herself in that camp by being one of the only GOP members of Congress to vote for Clinton's infamous Family & Medical Leave Act in 1993.
