I read an article once about his family/heirs and it was pretty nasty... They constantly go to court against each other and fight all the time about the money. They even dug up Jimmy and placed him in this tacky shrine which I think his father is buried at as well. I'm going to start marketing a Jimmy Carter energy drink. You start out feeling fresh and honest, then develop a malaise, after which people's opinion of you goes straight to hell. If there's a great thing about being dead is that it helps solidify a legacy, usually positive, whether it's deserved or not. Jimi, had he lived, would most certainly have gone on tours presented by Depends, Colt 45, or Oreck Vacuum Cleaners.

Beverage Concepts says its nonalcoholic "Liquid Experience" drinks, named for Hendrix's breakthrough album, "Are You Experienced?" will debut in April.

They are hoping it fares better than the failed grape-flavored drink venture in 1978 with Jim Jones.
