All Holiday trees at Sea-Tac Airport were removed this morning after several community member complaints. They say the trees don't represent all cultures and religions...The trees will not go up again...the airport policy on decorations will be reviewed after the holidays.
Let's just say that I own the 'relationship' between Microsoft (damned good company) and my brand; part of a huge computer corporation. This necessitates occasional travel to Seattle. I literally witnessed, at SEA-TAC, the ultimate cliche': a little old woman in a wheel chair being forced to stand up and be 'wanded' by security. I couldn't believe it.....and neither could the other business travellers.
This engendered numerous cat-calls and comments.....to no avail.
Seattle is a hotbed of idiocy.

I didn't realize that, but my point is still valid. I am offended by many aspects of modern culture. For example, I work with many people who curse and use my Lord's name in vain. Do I ask my management to create an office policy where cursing is not allowed? No, I don't. I hope my co-workers are sensitive to my beliefs, but if they choose not to be, I don't make it an issue. Freedom of speech is pretty important. It protects me when I say, "Jesus is Lord" the same as when someone decides to use Jesus's name in a manner I consider vile. If I was foolish enough to give government the power to regulate cursing, I would ultimately threaten my own right to express religious views others might find offensive. Bottom line, the majority rules. The minority is protected from the majority by our Constitution. In areas where fundamental rights are violated, the minority just needs to suck it up.
The muzzies have started a major PR campaign in the US. We need to be aware of what they are doing.
I have been to two shopping malls in the last week. Not a X-Mas tree in site at the malls or Macys. I can't pinpoint when X-Mas trees were removed, but I can remember 10 years ago that Macys would have trees decorated.

I live in Seattle and saw something similar at Sea-Tac: an old couple, barely walking, being wanded and the husband made to take off his shoes. I wanted to scream.
I am tired of muslims. There, I said it. I am tired of having to change my world to accomodate them, their small-mindedness, their abuse of women, their 7th century ways, everything. I'm sick of them.
Next thing they will cancel the China Town Festival of Lanterns (Shoen Nein Jot). The festival originated in the Han Dynasty (206-220). It started when a Chinese emperor decided to worship Buddha with the lighting of lanterns on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month. On this day the streets will be lined with these beutifully decorated lanterns. The people will eat yuanxiao; hence the Yuanxiao Festival is also celebrated on this day. Yuanxxiao is a rice dumpling of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as a filling. Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What's more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the family.
During the day you will be thrilled to see the dragon lantern dance, the lion dance, land boat dance, yangge dancing, "Gaoqiao" (stilt walking) and the Ansie waste drum dance.
Nighttime in Chinatown you will see the streets filled with children holding their exciting decorative lanterns, exchanging lantern riddles, and of course, watching the fireworks.
With all this noise of dancing and beating of drums the evil hate nicks will soon find a way end the Lantern Festival and ban the eating of yuanxiao. They will claim is offends those who believe in other religions. Of course, they want everyone to believe that they speak for everyone.
The Jewish organization that was responsible here was misnamed in the written KOMO TV report. The local organization is actually called the Central Organization for Jewish Education and is led by a Rabbi Kornfeld with his contact information listed below. Send him a message and let him know what you think about his demand removal of all Christmas trees at the airport. By the way, one report said that these trees have been displayed for over two decades prior to this threatened lawsuit.
