I didn't realize that, but my point is still valid. I am offended by many aspects of modern culture. For example, I work with many people who curse and use my Lord's name in vain. Do I ask my management to create an office policy where cursing is not allowed? No, I don't. I hope my co-workers are sensitive to my beliefs, but if they choose not to be, I don't make it an issue. Freedom of speech is pretty important. It protects me when I say, "Jesus is Lord" the same as when someone decides to use Jesus's name in a manner I consider vile. If I was foolish enough to give government the power to regulate cursing, I would ultimately threaten my own right to express religious views others might find offensive. Bottom line, the majority rules. The minority is protected from the majority by our Constitution. In areas where fundamental rights are violated, the minority just needs to suck it up.

I meant to say, "In areas where fundamental rights are NOT violated, the minority just needs to suck it up."

The way to break them of that is to smile and say "He's not going to help you in THAT tone of voice" or similar. Worked in my place!
