One man in the audience was telling Michaels he had no talent, that he didn't get a movie or a TV show after Steinfeld because he's no good. The guy was VERY loud and there is no way that Michaels could have ignored it. I take it from Michaels' rant, that what started it was when a black man/men in the audience were talking loudly during his act. That is what started Michaels on a racist rant about blacks.Responding by skewering the heckelers' boorish behavior is OK. Responding by showing a superior with is OK. Making fun of how the guys dress or look may also be within bounds.
If the only thing a person has to hang their hat on when matching wits with someone is to insult the other's ethnicity, that person is in trouble in life in many ways.

I want to find the clip of the person who Drudge featured last night on his radio program, calling for the elimination of all white people. That would have been a speaker at Howard University recently.

**Did you cringe in disgust when you heard Harold Ford's father call whites crackers?**
Actually, that story was corrected. He said "trackers."

None of the news reports also mention them calling him a "cracker ass".

Michael Richards DID have a tv show after Seinfeld. He was a detective on some series of his OWN on NBC.
And he's been at this since the 1970s when he was on ABC's answer to SNL - Fridays.

Not so. Kufir are unworthy of saying the name Mohammed or depicting him even in a positive light.

Too bad he didn't have the creativity to appropriately deal with a heckler, like asking them where they work and saying "ok, I'll be there tomorrow to yell at you while you work".

I think Mr. Richards career was pretty much in the dumper before this episode.
Maybe he was X'ed. Maybe Howard Stern gave him some advice.

Which is worse, the language/behavior of Richards in this thread or the language/behavior of the people in the video that goes along with this thread:

Personally, I find them both unbelievable and because of the children present in the 2nd, I would say it is more influentual and destructive.

Do you know a name? I want to know why it is receiving so little attention, considering the guy was calling for all white people to be wiped off the face of the Earth. Drudge played the clip on the air, but I never was able to hear who the speaker was.

That exchange between the two elderly art lovers was one of my favorite bits of dialogue from that entire series.

The only comic I went to see was so vile, he physically repulsed me as well. I was with my now-husband, and got up during the show and told him I'd wait for him in the lobby! I could not believe how crass he was, and that people think this kind of stuff is funny? To me, Steve Martin and Tim Allen are funny...not crass, vulgar stuff.
