We do indeed live in interesting times
Judgement Day '06 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/07/2006 11:45:49 PM PST by Jim Robinson

We do indeed live in interesting times.

I believe our resolve is about to be tested like it's never been tested before and I pray we're up for it.

The Democrats and the leftist media see this election as a mandate against the president and the war. They are about to pull out all the stops in their mission to totally demoralize the American people. If they succeed to the point we pull out of Iraq before the Iraqis are strong enough to defend themselves, I'm afraid it'll be the Killing Fields all over again. Only this time much much worse and much closer to home.

Praying we have the national resolve to resist the enemy within. Praying we maintain the will to continue the fight against the global jihadists. Our very right to survive as a nation and a free people depends on it.

Our president and our troops are going to need our prayers and support now more than ever.

God willing, America will survive!

I believe that it is God's will that we be free and prosper, and I believe He has given us the path and the light, but it is our responsibility, and indeed our very purpose for being alive, to make true freedom manifest here on Earth. Tomorrow is no different in that regard than was yesterday or any other day. It is up to us.

The absolutely great thing is that we may have more Dems around in the government, but there is absolutely no guarantee they won't be as idiotic as the ones we have now. I'm thinking we're about to have a couple of years which will make Americans BEG for Republicans in 2008!

We'll continue our fight, but people had best realize that MSM still hold sway. MSM are not only biased, but also dishonest.

Very, very true.

I know you've seen it before but:

****

The socialist/Marxist/liberal media is the most destructive, relentless, and ruthless enemy of this Republic.

****

Somehow, we MUST find a way to educate that faction of indifferent and poorly informed voters as to how much they are influenced by all the disinformation of the old media. And I include tv, movies, advertising, and hard cover magazines in the old media column.

The old media lies and continual distortions won this election for the Democrats and worked to injure our country.

Something has to be done to bring down the old media.

AMEN. Fortunately, the President is still more powerful than the whole Congress and he needs all our support to lead us in the war on terror, and lead us against this liberal Congress.

the Democrats are going to undercut Israel at every opportunity.

Buck up, friend. The Jews, that miraculous, indestructible race, have been in the crosshairs of some villains of millennial proportions in the past, and yet the Jews ever emerge, holding to their faith and their tradition, and the tyrants are broken.

Some think God plays a role. Does Nancy Pelosi have a God? Does Hillary? Only power do they worship. Only the self, the raw ego.

I will make a prediction here that is so obvious that it will make you laugh: Israel will stand. It will outlast the Dem majority, despite their best efforts.

If he deserts us on immigration, we won't be there for him when the Rats move to impeach him. I was mad at Tony Snow's comments tonight. I suspect the President doesn't know he needs us more than we need him.

What's the WE crap? SPEAK for yourself! I will NEVER support any plan or attempt to IMPEACH President Bush!

"Democrats need to concentrate on reconciliation to represent ALL of their constituents."

Watch the DU'ers howl when the House and Senate Dems run screaming for the center, leaving them behind in the dust.

They won most races by a few thousands votes.

Bush won florida in 2000 by less than 1000

Today, Heather Wilson, Tiberi, Pryce, and Schmidt, all republican incumbents all won by less than a few thousand and we are lucky we got those.

Bush isn't on the ballot in 2008. All the "Conservative" or "Moderate" Democrats who won US House seats are.

And people are wondering WHY we lost? We've been hearing you all say crap like that for almost seven years.

You all have been nipping at his heels since 1999.

Enjoy the immigration plan you get from Nancy.

This is not how it was supposed to be. Now instead of focusing on the real issues, we're going to be focusing on investigating the President. And the Republicans will learn from this that they should be more liberal, like the Democrats. I feel like there's some irony in there somewhere.

Do you believe elections have consequences? Bush said he "earned capital" after winning his elections. Haven't the Democrats "earned capital," too? What about the millions of voters who voted? Don't they get to have their viewpoints enacted? It's perfectly clear that a majority of voters want us to leave Iraq. Who are you to say that the will of the minority should be above the will of the majority? Do conservatives need affirmative action now?

We don't have to agree with the results, but we must respect them.

In fairness, he didn't say he would attempt to or support it either.
