We do indeed live in interesting times.
I believe our resolve is about to be tested like it's never been tested before and I pray we're up for it.
The Democrats and the leftist media see this election as a mandate against the president and the war. They are about to pull out all the stops in their mission to totally demoralize the American people. If they succeed to the point we pull out of Iraq before the Iraqis are strong enough to defend themselves, I'm afraid it'll be the Killing Fields all over again. Only this time much much worse and much closer to home.
Praying we have the national resolve to resist the enemy within. Praying we maintain the will to continue the fight against the global jihadists. Our very right to survive as a nation and a free people depends on it.
Our president and our troops are going to need our prayers and support now more than ever.
God willing, America will survive!

But right now Im pretty pissed off at the Rockefeller/RINO Pubbies for squandering what was left of their capital. Its not that I trusted you - its that I gave you the chance to prove me wrong...and you blew it.
If President Reagan were alive and well to speak to us, no doubt he would say so as well - and he would tell us to press on, never give in, never surrender, and do not give an inch to the Democrats.

One thing that I've noticed in recent polls is that a majority of Americans disapprove of the way Bush is handling the war in Iraq ... but only 17% want an immediate withdrawal.
It tells me that most of those who are dissatisfied want Bush to do what it takes to WIN IT.
I think this time the American people have written their own demise...the terrorist are doing the happy dance, because they know exactly what the jackasses will do, the same thing they have done over and over..RUN away!
We were born into this time, for a purpose. There have been darker days than these, many times, in the history of the Republic...
and they did not know how their times would end - they only knew to fight on.
Through the days of Civil War and Tammany Hall, through the endless corruptions and backroom deals, still this Nation survives.
Now is our time. Gird yourselves, and embrace it; for the battle is far from over, and we are yet alive!
These will surely be the "times that test men's souls".

The next election cycle will mark a decade for me on your great site. Hopefully we will be smiling that evening.
