Good posts...

I believe you'll see this change in the House and Senate every 4-6 years. Neither party has yet invented the better mousetrap. As you say, once they do...

They can't raise taxes or pass new regulations if they're dodging rabid moonbats

Oh, yes they can.

But they are not die hard free traders and they see nothing wrong with a higher minimum wage

Along with never seeing the inside of an economics 101 class.

It's not the WIPEOUT that lardball was claiming, so DUmmies can rejoice, but they better get used to GRIDLOCK...50-50 senate and small majority in the house isn't enough to dictate terms or for Bush to cave on his agenda.

The day a Republican President signs an Amnesty bill into law...

You ARE being sarcastic, aren't you?

Reagan's 1986 amnesty bill added 3-percent to the Democratic base.

And if GWB and the GOP congress passes another amnesty bill, they will again be adding 5-10-percent to the Democratic registration numbers.

Oh sure, there are some Republican Hispanics out there, but from what I saw at the polls yesterday (election day), the Spanish crowd was hanging with the Democrat pollsters all day.

"Well the Prez had to pick one issue to fight his last major election on. He picked one that split him from his base. The house shot it down. Now that house is gone. Guess the Prez got what he wanted. Be careful what you wish for."

Bush and Kennedy on the same page should have been a clear indication of the power of the OBL. Bush's support of their plan showed he was willing to risk loss of majority, impeachment, higher taxes, a surrender in Iraq, and a defeat in the WOT.

The OBL must be stopped NOW.

no comment needed

Oh yes there is.

If the Bush administration does that, he will deserve to be impeached, though the Dims probably won't impeach him for that, but for a bunch of made-up crap. Nonetheless, for failing to protect our borders from terrorists, which is one of his primary constitutional duties, he will deserve to be impeached.

I sincerely hope he doesn't go that route.

The only thing that stoped Bush's plan for amnesty was the GOP house, with both the House and Senate gone, Bush will get his amnesty, the nation and the GOP will be lucky to survive it.

I'm not stunned spectre...."Bush and Kennedy on the same page should have been a clear indication of the power of the OBL. Bush's support of their plan showed he was willing to risk loss of majority, impeachment, higher taxes, a surrender in Iraq, and a defeat in the WOT."

He knew all along, even a loss, would be a win for his OBL agenda. The OBL must be stopped NOW.

Seems the GOP isn't getting the message. This may just be the issue that a conservative third party needed.

Canamexamerica is on the march...

"I sincerely hope he doesn't go that route."

There is no doubt now that it will go "that route".

It was set to go that way in the Senate if you watched the proceedings. The border bot pubs went after the wrong guys because they wanted it all....now they will have to live with the consequences. (see tagline)

Things are going to change now--and I hope our side is diligent about holding their feet to the fire!

Dream on.

George W. Bush had his moment in the sun, With nary a veto from his pen. We thought a revolution had begun - but our dreams are coming to an end.

No child left behind, A conservatism that is kind! We were told. But looking back on the last six years, a wishy washy bill of goods we were sold.

So now the dream of smaller government is lost. Sadly, generations to come will pay the cost. Even if we wake up now, it may be too late - to stop der Beast in 2008.

Actually, they won't have to ram it through. The democrats are supporting it, the senate supports it, and the president supports it.

Sorry guys, but anybody who voted against their republican, or didn't show up, because they were unhappy with immigration is really screwed now. Say high to illegals, they will be your neighbors now.
