Yeah, I caught that one too. The republicans are now going to ram through amnesty as fast as they can and the dems are going to help them do it.

Here comes amnesty. The House immigration bill was the one that had teeth. This is going to be ridiculous.

If the White House does that, conservatives will go off the reservation for good.

The ball is in the Dems court.. If they don't pass immigration reform...

Or maybe now they can propose a much STIFFER bill and blame the rats for failing to protect the borders. Possibility.

I'm going to be in a bad mood for days...but what the hell. The American people have spoken and they're coming from a different place than me and I'm just going to have to adjust...

Yeah, we need a Ronald Reagan-style immigration law, not this "amnesty" crap!
The day a Republican President signs an Amnesty bill into law, goodbye Republican party!

The republicans are now going to ram through amnesty as fast as they can and the dems are going to help them do it. A shame

I don't think so. Bush has always been weak on immigration. If he pushes through a weak bill he will lose more of his base and Republicans will pay the price for years to come.

Well the Prez had to pick one issue to fight his last major election on. He picked one that split him from his base. The house shot it down. Now that house is gone. Guess the Prez got what he wanted. Be careful what you wish for.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform means open borders and a flood of 3rd world immigrants without any allegiance to the US, and the end of US sovereignty. You can fool yourself if you like, but the in the end this is the sad truth.
To: JasonC
Bush is as good as impeached. I hope he's happy.

Yeah, we need a Ronald Reagan-style immigration law, not this "amnesty" crap! Didn't Reagan sign an amnesty law, back in '84?
