Well, I think it has arguable merit but I suspect they'll find some judge to give Brown a pass.

this is going down to the wire. Garamendi will likely take LA County, but the more remote precincts in the county will likely report last and slightly close the gap there. Orange County, the most conservative of the heavily populated counted is whooping Garamendi. The love Tom.
Santa Cruz County will swing to Garamendi, but neighboring Monterey County will be Tom's. Both have yet to report and they will counter one another.
To: dcam
Ugh, don't see Monterey County returns in that tally. From the few acquiantences I have up there, I get the impression that they are pretty liberal. If that's the case, this isn't good.

Pombo is cooked now. There goes my congressman. But on the bright side this fellow McNerney has finally found gainful employment.

D'oh! I think we may have lost McClintock then. This is probably the worst defeat of the night.

I think its over for McClintock. He really ran a good race but he lives in too liberal a state. He could have been elected Governor in a Red State.

No, I'm in Fresno County. I just check the state registration records for Monterey County, and it didn't look good, but ... McC has a nice lead in Santa Barbara County where Democrats out number Republicans by number similar to Monterey. Looks like Tom might take the Central coast, ... Monterey included I hope.
