Welcome to the live thread for the California Primary Election. Polls are open until 8pm tonight. If you are a registered voter, it is your duty to vote and defend your rights and civil liberties, protect your pocketbook, and vote the bums out where applicable.
Feel free to discuss issues key to your local area that others may be interested in. Post your polling place experiences if you like. And post numbers as they come in later tonight.
Brown declared victor over Poochigian. Now the lawsuit can go forward over Brown's technical qualifications.
Jessica's Law declared PASSED by AP along with 1A-1E.
Talent is conceding the race in MO
The guy handling all the CA GOP mailers purposely left off all opposition to the bonds that were opposed at the convention, including Prop 84. He also left off support for Prop 90. Here's a couple links on the double dealing--a royal screw job by our very own:

Think there is a chance that it'll get any traction???
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." -Manuel II Paleologus
It looks like the results posted are with 38% of the precincts counted.
Is there any chance that sanity will prevail?

The Dems should have run Jane Fonda against Schwartzenegger, they'd have won. They had a contender, but didn't see it. Which means, they didn't even know how far left this state has swung.(just to give you my view as to how upside-down and left things are here)
Only 26% of San Joaquin County is reporting, and that's his bread and butter. We'll see.

I grew up in Contra Costa county. It was always the last bastion of sanity in the Bay Area. When the heck did it get invaded by the moonbats?
Orange, San Bernardino, and San Diego are coming in slow.
I ain't losin' hope yet!
[Cringing]Oh yeah, four more years of openborders (half a million at least), defeat in Iraq (followed by massive media coverage of the impending civil war), plus, two years of Hillary under our belts. The price of Polar Bear sunscreen going through the roof (along with oil, healthcare, inflation, unemployment, etc [anything involving an inverstor or union]). I'm stopping right here-- before it gets anymore bleak.
This looks bad...

What channel are you watching? I finally broke down and turned on the tv.
Local TV. I don't get cable news.
