Just announced on the FNC.
It sounded like James Careville after 15 beers, w/o the humor.
I don't see it as that easy on McCain's part. He could have just stayed out of it, and let the thing blow over. McCain is the one that is keeping Kerry in the news cycle. Watch tomorrow, and you'll see what I mean. Everyone is going to play McCain on Hannity.
Not just Saigon, there's a Vietnamese social center I drive by frequently, just about every Republican campaign sign and sticker available locally is on display there right by the highway !
I've always heard the othere version.
String together all the Dem quotes badmouthing our troops (eg. Durbin), ending with the latest Kerry misstep. And 2) constantly replay Reid saying "we killed the Patriot Act." When or when will the Reps start playing these tapes.)
I agree. A collage of outrageous statements shown over and over again in all markets is what's needed. Let their own words do them in.
Are you saying Yaaawn is stuck in a Quagmire?? You can bet Rush is going to let this drip.....
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
I'm doubtful Hillary will hold out much longer either. Her veneer is wearing thin. America does not pick its presidents from among its senators(Hillary, McCain - out). In time, a republican governor will emerge (sorry, Duncan Hunter) into national leadership status...Mitt/Jeb '08?
If I remember right in his press conference today he said that this was the last that he would speak about it.
And that keeps McCain in the news looking like a defender of the troops and a friend to Republicans. And he is. Right now. And that works for me. He can kick sKerry all he wants to but he can forget the WH AFAIC.

here is a link to the Braley asking Kerry not to campagn for him.
"The key point I think is it gives borderline Republicans a reason to get out and vote. It reminds them of why this election is so important. I was of the opinion we'd lose the House and probably hold the Senate."
Yup. I've thought the war was a blunder from day one, but like blazes am I going to stay home when we might end up with Pelosi and Co. in control. It is absolutely crazy to make this election a referendum on the war. It should be a referendum on whether we like John Roberts and Samuel Alito...
At this point, every election is a last-stand effort. The way political and demographic trends are going, once we let them get in power, we will be in for a very, very long winter.
Think about it. We had to have the most massively effective GOTV efforts in the history of the GOP. To beat bozos like Gore and Kerry...
Once we weather this (and I think we will, much to the chagrin of the left), the big problem is going to be finding someone even as conservative as W to nominate in 2008.
And when you call on Thursday ask why it took so long to form an opinion on something so simple LOL
Of course it will "nuanced" and that takes time !
Romney/Rice
Not at all--they're euphoric that a democrat has actually stated their true beliefs.
I love what Hugh Hewitt said today... Kerry won't resign because that would require shame.
But, I was so happy when my satellite dish was repaired, so I could get back to watching fair and balanced Fox and Friends (I'm such a bot) ;-)
Griffin said while the soldiers protested, a woman came up to them and asked, "Isn't this bad for the troops?" Griffin said one of the soldiers replied, "Lady, we are the troops."
Griffin said he made the decision to accompany Kerry and the other soldiers to Dewey Canyon III because he believed in letting people know the truth.
So perhaps Kerry Responds should have said:
I remember when I was back home from Vietnam and I was speaking out against the Vietnam war policy and was joined by Griffin who told me that while the soldiers protested, a woman came up to them and asked, "Isn't this bad for the troops?" Griffin said one of the soldiers replied, "Lady, we are the troops."
I've never quite seen it put that way before, but perhaps, if enough of a ding is put there, the din may cause him to just walk away and never look back.
Maybe.
On the other hand, if his mind is truly seared in Cambodia, he just may chose to fight.
Whatever.
