McCaine is doing what comes natural if one is thinking of running for president as he is. Move in fast when a potential rival (of either party) makes a false move and go for the jugular. Try to knock them out one at a time.
Hillary knows the whole routine. So does Rove, heheh.
However, this is an unexpected gift and I'm grateful to McCain........on a temporary basis only.

I think I have heard some lib types hint in the last few weeks that Foley wasn't "the only one"...and that there may be some more people "outed"...
I guess they are saving those for Friday...so it can be the BIG topic on the Sunday shows...and through Monday...and BINGO, the dems will win all of the races on Tuesday...

McCain is far from perfect, but I'll say this for sure about McCain: He will defend America against all threats from overseas, and if it ends up being McCain vs. Hillary, I'm absolutely going to vote for McCain.

Legit question. What's in it for McCain? Easy, he's getting the conservative base to give him another look, and I'm one of them.

I hope they do it. Talk about a backfire.

I'm also a military mom. My son is a Marine and just returned from his second tour of Iraq. I called my dem. senator today and asked if he backed Kerry's statement. I was told to call back Thur. and they might have a statement by then.
Everyone needs to call their rat congress critters.

one was the senator from Idaho, but from all I heard it barely made a ripple.

Good to see you Ron. I've been reading up on a few subjects, and I have to say that your posts over the years have been outstanding.

Rush and talk radio is going to compare this to Foley and FEAST off of this until Nov 8, and then the story will be how the MSM ultimately lost the election for the D's by being ruthlessly hypocritical.
Foley was like 12 Dem attack cycles ago. For Rush, this is even sweeter, because every "news" organization in America tried to make Rush sound like the most callous, insensitive person on the face of the earth over the Michael J Fox flap.
Rush absolutely proved he can take it. And now, it's his turn to dish it out.

ABC Poll results:
Sen. John Kerry claims that the White House has distorted his comment that kids who don't do well in school "get stuck in Iraq." The White House has accused him of "troop bashing," and is demanding an apology.
Was Kerry's statement offensive to troops?
Yes. The comment was unnecessary and negative. Kerry should apologize.

No. This isn't even an issue. It's just Republicans trying to hurt Democrats close to elections.
3,271
Possibly. But I don't think that was his intention. The press is making too big a deal out of this.

The thing is you know it's genuine...how can it not be.
I don't trust McCain...But, I'd have to pull the lever for him.
