Bush to respond to Kerry @5PM EST.

**Maybe the White House (aka Toney Snow & Rove) has decided to keep this one alive.**
It will still be alive next Tuesday when we go to the polls. Definitely has legs.
When George Allen misspoke a SINGLE WORD, and in the process accidentally insulted a SINGLE WORKER for the Webb campaign, the Washington Post wrote dozens of articles about it, and carried the story for WEEKS.
That's true even though Allen APOLOGIZIED for his misspoken words, and did NOT attack the people who pointed it out.
It's getting to where it will be hard for ANY republican to win elections anywhere, the media is too biased and too powerful and has too much control over what most people hear.
And don't count on the internet, it is being taken over by savvy but ruthless and unprincipled liberals who don't mind perverting Google searches, making up entries in Wikipedia, and if need be crashing conservative servers.
Bill O'Reilly defended Kerry, and had TWO democrats on to talk about it.
If you BELIEVE Kerry, he was trying to use our troops dying in Iraq as a joke against George Bush.
Does Kerry think the Iraq war is something to joke about?
Of course they are, they don't think democrats SHOULD apologize for insulting the troops.
That statement from Kerry is a lie.
According to his own biography written by Douglas Brinkley, when Kerry graduated from Yale he felt obligated to join the NAVY, something about his family. He wasn't sent to Vietnam, he was on a ship in the pacific, which occasionally brought stuff to a safe vietnamese port.
Later, a good friend of his from college was killed in Vietnam. According to Kerry from the book, this made him mad, and he wanted to go to vietnam to get revenge for the death of his friend.
Meanwhile, he had seen the swift boats during one of his port calls in vietnam, and so he thought they looked cool and wanted to serve on one.
To transfer, he had to go back to train more. After the training, he was sent to Vietnam, and had to spend a month in a base camp. When he first got there, he tried to volunteer to go out right away but was refused. DUring the month though, he saw people coming back, heard stories, and decided he didn't really WANT to go on patrols.
Then he missed a meeting, and at the meeting he was "volunteered" to take over a ship. When he found out, he went to his commander and asked to be "unvolunteered", but was unsuccessful.
This was all from HIS OWN BIOGRAPHY, written by Douglass Brinkley. Whenever someone wanted to talk about his record, I'd go through this, and the democrat would scream about how the vets for Truth were liars and I was stupid to believe what they wrote, and then I'd point out that EVERYTHING I SAID was from Kerry's OWN biography.
Apparently someone got nervous and had the post removed.
I guess I need to put humor tags on my off the wall posts...:>)
What he said:
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."-John F. Kerry
What I heard:
"You know, deception, if you make the most of it, if you falsely obtain military medals and do your homework by lying to congress, and you make an effort to undermine a war-- causing millions of innocent people to lose their lives, uh, you can do well and come home early. If you don't, you get stuck in Nam."
kerry, you can kiss my ... .
God Bless our Troops and President Bush.
I don't buy that.
And even if it WAS intended to be a joke about the President, it's STILL an insult to our Troops.
The only way it could have been intended to be funny would be because, with Kerry's 30+ years of denigrating our Military, testifying that they commit war crimes, saying that they shouldn't be terrorizing women and children in Iraq, we would naturally EXPECT him to be about to once again denigrate our Troops. But NO! Ha ha! He's slamming the President instead? By implying that the President is as dumb as he thinks our Troops are?
Oh, Please...
His "intended Joke" can only be "funny" because it is a twist on the tired and disproved DNC talking point that our troops are foolish and predominantly less educated than average.
Well, if that's the story he wants to stick to then it seems to me he meant to insult not only our President, but everyone who voted for him, and our Troops as well.
Maybe we can get some of our Democrat Representatives to explain... ;-)
P.S. kerry.......are you laughing yet? I mean, I might have simply typed up a "botched joke" about the kerry Administration that will never exist.
That's funny!
Here is someone who agrees;

You could be right Kerry thinks Bush is dumb for getting the US stuck in Iraq. After all Kerry said it was aimed at Bush. He's got to be telling the truth right?
;*)
I just read what the text of Kerry's speech was, here it is;
"I cant overstress the importance of a great education. Do you know where you end up if you dont study, if you arent smart, if youre intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq.
That sounds like a slam on Bush.
They were sworn at, you can bet. : )
Kerry needs to listen to this women! She's amazing!
