(Excerpt) Read more at drudgereport.com ...
LOL, grin, joke tag ... what's the difference?
You're absolutely right (sadly).
It's just Lib moles trying to do damage control.
Will the MSM even report this? Has there been an AP or Reuters story on this? I cannot seem to find any.
it's true in certain market OUCH Katie Couric is red shirt LOL!
What he wrote is disgusting, AC. It shows the dark side of this man.
On the contrary, I fully expect elected or trying-to-get-elected Democrats to run away and hide from Webb as fast as they can. Other than Barney Frank, what elected Democrat wants to be talking about pedophelia 2 weeks before a tight election?
Hey Gilbert Macaca,
go re-enact your favorite scene from Deliverance with your pet goat. I don't have the patience to explain why your reading comprehension is still at the 4th grade level.
Because the MSM refuses to divulge anything that might interfere with the plan to elect Webb, that's why.
the dems wouldn't hesitate, not for one second, to blow this up in front of the world had a REP written this..Pelosi would have already issued her statement that the rep should immediately withdraw etc..etc..yada..yada..yada..
the hypocricy is amazing..
LOL.

The Donks (amplified thru the MSM) are going to say that Webb was just practicing the novelist's craft by working in particularly vivid elements of the foreign culture.
Allen should probably not have touched this himself.
It's actually much more tame than it has been in the past. Do some research on election history in this country, it has always been ugly. As tiresome as it gets, the whole thing of civil politics is a talking point that both parties use and the media laps it up every year.
I don't think they'll say anything, but if they do, they will say it was just fiction and nothing else.
I thought you were talking about some new-fangled third party. Things move pretty fast around here. :>)
[I suspect the MSM will suggest that Allen has delivered yet another low blow, as it were - it's just a freaking novel after all. The MSM will ignore the thrust of the Allen press release that Webb seem to have a pattern and practice of hyper testosteroned deprecation and objectification of women. The MSM media does not like Allen; he just isn't clubbable.]
Ever read any of Webb's books? [No, and I don't intend to. From the excepts, they suck as "art."]
I hope so! LOL
John McCain gave the book a good recommendation:
James Webbs new novel paints a portrait of a modern Vietnam charged with hopes for the future but haunted by the ghosts of its war-torn past. It captures well the lingering scars of the war, and exposes the tension between the dynamism of a new generation and the invisible bondage of an older generation for whom wartime allegiances, and animosities, are rendered no less vivid by the passage of time. A novel of revenge and redemption that tells us much about both where Vietnam is headed and where it has been.
