I gave boxes of No-Rad to my friends and family as stocking stuffers last Christmas. Of course, my Mom said "What do I need these for? Hell, I'll just go outside and take a deep breath!". Wrong answer, Mom.

Folks can clog comms channels with argumnets over terror/no terror, and what kind of A/C it was if they want.
Full battle rattle here, hope for the best, plan for the worst, if ugly tuns up here, I can give lots of ugly right back, if this turns out to be an accident, the cats can laugh at me later.
Be calm, spread calm, use your heads, avoid risk for a possible power failure, and go as easy as possible on communications resources.
The rest will take care of itself.

Or until Osama notices and says,
"I didn't do it, but I wish I had!"

Of course, my Mom said "What do I need these for? Hell, I'll just go outside and take a deep breath!". Are you my brother? LOL. My mom has the same reaction to anything I tell her news-wise.

Oh man, I am soooooo so so so so glad I took off today! The 59th street bridge is right near there and what I use everyday to get home, matter of fact the time this plane hit I most likely would have been right around there heading for the bridge and been stuck for hours, the traffic must be an absolute freggin` nightmare right now.

Then again the pilot could just as easily have had a heart-attack - thus the plane goes wherever it chooses...

What are the odds that terrorists want to see everybody's reaction?

Looking at a photo of the area, I'd guess it IS terrorism. All the buildings in the immediate area are a hell of a lot shorter. The tallest one is the one that should have the least chance of being hit because it's the one you keep the farthest away from. It's your point of judgement...like a lighthouse.
