A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.

How are you today? I think there may be frost here end of this week. We were so spoiled the last few days with some warm temps. This morning was chilly.

Perhaps a warm “fluffy” or Warm “feathery” rather than warm fuzzy???
I took many pix Sunday close to sunset as I was biking. This pix is NOT far from where I live. I was biking on the towpath in the valley behind my home & captured the blue heron & a pair of mallards.
I have seen this SAME heron many times over the years. They are very territorial in their FISHING/living spots. They also rebuild or USE the same nest every year, This one is always in the canal within about 30 feet of this spot.

I am doing good.
Sorry that I am not here often enough,but I am still trying to get used to the early hours at work and to boot it all we are shorthanded everywhere,so that means more work for me and the rest of us.
At the end of the day I am dead on my feet.

I saw a Blue Heron only two times. They are magnificent birds to see! I also adore the Mallard Ducks. They are a lifetime couple I enjoy watching. They display their affection. Sweet. :)
