Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Haiku
No Box can hold me
I can escape easily
To do as I please!
Some rooms have soft floors
Moving silently. Hard to
Ignore Human snores
The Curtains seduce
Me to climb high... What the deuce?!!! No time for a truce
"Up" has been easy
Though only half-way. "Down" is
The much harder way!
Carpets are so soft
And deep. So plush that I leave
A rut as I creep
Climbing up the Stairs
My Humans sleep unaware
They are in my care!
Shadows fade in light
The Sun, a most welcome sight
After such a night
Time to find a place
To re-charge and set the pace
For tomorrow's race!
