The following are photographs sent to me by SoldiersPrayingMom of the Freep held this weekend. She says that lots of drivers honked enthusiastically! Thought you all would like to see them.

I think a rock star sounds pretty exciting to her. She asked for a guitar for Christmas. Poor me!!!

Okay .... to tell the truth, she is my surrogate granddaughter. :) She is my great-niece and she lives with us. AND ..... I am very proud of her.

It is easier to call her my granddaughter since she calls me gramma.

Thanks, sjb. I did a good job of ducking the camera too. I am only in one and I am far, far away - and blurry soft focused. Just as I like it. LOL!

Oh Lori, so good to see you are taking my place and hiding from the camera! :-) I did see you though!

I wish I could have been there. I've been to one "Freep" rally a couple years ago and on a separate date briefly stopped by and met Jim Robinson during aonther FR rally at Blackstone/Shaw. Since then I've moved south so I'm a couple hours away now. But I hope to get to meet you and see some of the others in the future.

Great pics!

Good for you. You and your wife must be fantastic parents.

Tell your sons we all thank them, and tell your son in Iraq that FreeRepublic loves him and hopes he gets home safely.

I'll be sure to pass on your thanks to my sons. My wife and I just tried to do the best we could (and many times made mistakes along the way). We're not much different from most other loving parents struggling to do what is right by and for our children.

LOL! Full disclosure was not necessary! ;*)

She is still a doll baby and we are all proud of our little FReeperette.

Perhaps, but you produced respectful, dutiful, responsible children.

That is not easy, and is something many parents fail to do.

Give yourself a big ol' pat on the back for a job well done.

Good evening, GeeBee. Glad you enjoyed the pictures. We always have fun at the rallies.

Friday was a big day. As soon as PrissyMissy got home from school, we left for Patriot's Corner.

We stayed a little later than usual since we had so many that joined us. We went to dinner late and had to wait forever for a table. By the time we got home, PrissyMissy and I were both exhausted. Spent Saturday recovering. I finally downloaded my pictures while PM was in Sunday School.

Thanks for the additional ping. Were the pics on the other thread last year's pics?

Keep up the great work.
