Thank you backhoe for that compilation.
OPINION: In this case, an SUV could not be blamed; so of course one must blame the guns. Someday, maybe, the media will pay close attention to the suspect and not the suspect's weapon of choice.

Look at post 13. Some of his answers give me a creepy feeling.

i think Kimveer is a name from East India..
You're probably right. A Yahoo! search for Kimveer brings up this December 14, 2004 French-language blog entry by someone who "spent three weeks delirious with Kimveer", according to Yahoo!'s English translation. (
Link to Original French /
Link to somewhat nonsensical Yahoo! English translation). If the English translation is correct, he's the son of immigrants from India. Maybe a French-speaking Freeper can confirm.
I think they are talking about the same Kimveer - it mentions Kimveer the Destroyer, which is a name he used in some Usenet discussions. The e-mail address in the Usenet groups matches that of his My Space page.

What about the gun or guns that stopped him? Don't they get any credit?

Thank you backhoe for that compilation. OPINION: In this case, an SUV could not be blamed; so of course one must blame the guns. Someday, maybe, the media will pay close attention to the suspect and not the suspect's weapon of choice. The agenda-driven shills are already coming out of the woodwork.
This is not a Hardware Problem ( Weaponry ) but a Software Problem ( malicious human beings ).
As long as there are some deluded people who refuse to recognize the fact that some folks are just bad people who will harm others unprovoked, we'll keep tilting at windmills and miss the truth.
After the Seattle shooting, one of the survivors launched yet another futile campaign for more gun control- quite overlooking the simple fact that is had she had a sidearm to pull from her purse ( instead of the cell phone she had- dial 911, and die... ) her colleague might still be alive today.

I agree backhoe.
Guns can save a life.
Guns can take a life.
A gun can't do anything without a person to operate it.
The same can be said for bats, knives, ice picks, ball point pens, keys, nail clippers, etc.

If you want to harm a large group of people, there's nothing like a big car or truck- I could teach you in about 30 minutes how to send a vehicle into a controlled broadslide under power- stunt drivers do it all the time- and you can wipe out a streetful of folks that way.
It's a "humanity problem," and one of good and evil. There is only so much laws and regulations can do.

Sorry, but those innocent people that are dead or in the hospital wouldn't be if this dumb little punk had just taken his anger out on himself like all good little nonconformists do.
Remember, emos/goths, if you really want to make a statement about how much you hate the world, go down the road, not across the street. Do us all a favor.

Everyone needs to take a look at his photo page and ask, "Didn't someone around him notice he was getting a little weird?"
Remember the Columbine shooters were building bombs at home, wearing trenchcoats, making threats, and doing stuff that back when I was that age would have set alarms off all over the place.

The 3 guns used by 25 year old Kimveer Gill - Montreal's Dawson College Shooter - were legally registered. What does this tell you about the effectiveness of the $1.5 billion gun registry?
