Don't miss it, my Freeper friends. It's no wonder the Clintonistas have thrown everything at ABC/Disney, in a desperate effort to have the miniseries cancelled. Documents exactly what we've been following over the years on FR. Brave agents on the ground in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Dedicated people at Langley and the J. Edgar Hoover building, working around the clock to capture or kill Bin Laden, Ramzi Yusef et al. And all their efforts derailed by Clinton appointees like Berger and Allbright- selfishly putting their own careers (and covering their asses) before protecting the USA. The line of the show delivered by the actor playing Masood, brave and charismatic leader of the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan:

To have the clintons howling this load, makes me believe this movie might be telling the truth, which could hurt hildabeast's presidential aspirations. As much as I don't watch much TV, tonight might be the night I turn on the tube!
Nobody here does but the general public needs to be shown, especially with the election coming up.
I've been over at DU (I know it's a nasty place) I haven't had this much fun since the election results started coming in in Nov. '04. After the film actually airs in the U.S, tonight, I expect they will all be saying that they are moving to Canada (Again)

It would be consistent with their belief that American viewers are idiots. Or perhaps they do hope people will notice, so they can sell lots of DVDs of the unedited version.

I keep hearing that the unedited version will be shown. I think the fact they showed this version in Australia means that they will show it here also.

Beneath the West Wing of the White House, behind the vaulted steel door, the Sit Room staff sprang into action. The watch officer notified National Security Advisor Sandy Berger, “Sir, we’ve located bin Laden. We have a two-hour window to strike.”
Characteristic of the Clinton administration, the weapons of choice would be tomahawk missiles. No clandestine “snatch” by our Spec. Ops forces. No penetrating bombers or high speed fighter aircraft flown by our Air Force and Navy forces. No risk of losing American lives.
Berger ambled down the stairwell and entered the Sit Room. He picked up the phone at one of the busy controller consoles and called the president. Amazingly, President Clinton was not available. Berger tried again and again. Bin Laden was within striking distance. The window of opportunity was closing fast. The plan of attack was set and the Tomahawk crews were ready. For about an hour Berger couldn’t get the commander in chief on the line. Through the president was always accompanied by military aides and the Secret Service, he was somehow unavailable. Berger stalked the Sit Room, anxious and impatient.
Finally, the president accepted Berger’s call. There was discussion, there were pauses – and no decision. The president wanted to talk with his secretaries of defense and state. He wanted to study the issue further. Berger was forced to wait. The clock was ticking. The president eventually called back. He was still indecisive. He wanted more discussion. Berger alternated between phone calls and watching the clock.
The NSC watch officer was convinced we had the right target. The intelligence sources were conclusive. The president, however, wanted a guaranteed hit or nothing at all.
This time, it was nothing at all. We didn’t pull the trigger. We “studied” the issue until it was too late – the window of opportunity closed. Al-Quaeda’s spiritual and organization leader slipped through the noose.”………….

I doubt your theory, but you are right, ABC (and the others) make decisions based on their own best interests. Money, political manuevering, etc. The ratings alone are worth a fortune. I sincerely think that some people on the left are smart enough to realize that Hillary is not electable. Or perhaps there are interests at play who worry what Hillary would do or not do if she became POTUS. BTW, I'm cynical too, lol.

Look at how Bush handles the DU, Airhead America, Moore, and drive-by media lies. He brushes them off because the American people are smart enough to weed out the lies by themselves.
That is why he won two elections despite every news network except for Fox campaigning against him.
All the cries of "Bush Lied" fall on deaf ears after all the lies Bill & Hitlery put us through.
The most damning part of the movie is actually how the partisan 9/11 commission was a complete whitewash for the previous administration, covering up their fear, lies, inaction AND Sandy Burglar stuffing documents down his pants.
8 years of Bill J Clinton vs. 8 months of GWB...you do the Math. Many more missed opportunities that 'ole Slick finally has to answer for.
It will hurt those brainwashed by CNN and Dan Rather to see what an ineffective and scandal ridden President did to hurt national security worse than any other leader we have ever seen. Clinton was a feckless pacifist who gutted the military and had no spine when it came to dealing with terrorists. OBL even claimed that we received our "paper tiger" status after Mogadishu when he cut tail and ran.
Bill's final legacy just might be that he was so inept that he can't even invent one.
All style and no substance, just the opposite of the real man and true leader we have today.

I'll be suprised they don't edit out so much that the mini-series will be turn into a one night movie.
