After minor edits in response to Democratic critics, the miniseries will air as scheduled. It's already set off a bitter election-year dispute. Walt Disney Co.'s ABC is forging ahead with plans to air a miniseries starting Sunday despite controversy over its efforts to dramatize — and some say unfairly politicize — the events leading up to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Producers said late Friday that they had finished making minor edits to "The Path to 9/11" amid a firestorm of protests from leading Democrats including Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, who warned that telecasting "right-wing political propaganda" might violate the terms of ABC's government-mandated broadcast license.

I smell a Rat
If this miniseries comes off as seen by Hugh Hewitt, or even fairly close to that, I am proud of ABC for not bowing to Bruce Lindsey et al of the Klinton Kamp & Legal Team, or any other dem / lib pressure.
All the demands that ABC kill it may end up in a lot more people watching.
ABC stands by their product, finished with the "editing" Friday......
its like making a movie about Pearl Harbor, without showing the japanese flying the planes. just a "minor edit" mind you.
Add NPR to that!
And Richard Clarke is unscathed in this movie.
I hope the opening scene shows a bunch of senators in a smoke-filled room, scheming to block the movie.
Yes, but Bush isn't howling like a cat on a hot stove. Only Clintonistas who want their second shot at White House power are doing that.
Do remember that Rush has seen all 6 hours and he applauds the film...
they will edit out all of the "personalization". the CIA attacks will be called off, but they will not show who gave the order.

I wonder what would happen if they were to tote a left wing fanatical point of view?
