ABC will air the film. FWIW, the NY Times gives the film a thumbs up.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, who warned that telecasting "right-wing political propaganda" might violate the terms of ABC's government-mandated broadcast license.

Got three little letters for ya, Harry:

The situation was further complicated Friday, when ABC and other networks agreed to carry live a 15-minute speech from President Bush on Monday night, the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. This speech will air at 9 p.m. Eastern time, forcing ABC to interrupt Part 2 of the miniseries in many markets, including New York and Chicago.

If this miniseries comes off as seen by Hugh Hewitt, or even fairly close to that, I am proud of ABC for not bowing to Bruce Lindsey et al of the Klinton Kamp & Legal Team, or any other dem / lib pressure.

All the demands that ABC kill it may end up in a lot more people watching.

I hope the opening scene shows a bunch of senators in a smoke-filled room, scheming to block the movie.

Producers said late Friday that they had finished making minor edits to "The Path to 9/11" amid a firestorm of protests from leading Democrats including Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, who warned that telecasting "right-wing political propaganda" might violate the terms of ABC's government-mandated broadcast license.

ABC and their right winged fanatical point of view led them to this debacle.

I wonder what would happen if they were to tote a left wing fanatical point of view?

I guess we'll never know.

Hope they didn't take out that part about that 9-11 thingy and that terrorism deal and that Cliton guy and that Izlamomuzziethug stuff. Or the 1993 WTC bombing or the USS Cole, African Embassies, Khobar Towers and on and on from 1993 to January 20, 2001. If they edited that hard all that would be left would be a 30 minute show.

I hope it also involves the path that North Korea took to ICBMs, with the help of Maddy Halfbright and Jimmah Peanut, agreed to by BJ, of course, greased with campaign cash paid at the California temple nuns to Mr. Inconvenient.\ Bagman.

Here we've spent all this time and effort on this idiotic Plame deal, and there has been no investigation about how Loral was able to transfer technology to North Korea through the Dept. of Commerce (Ron Brown, who subsequently rode a plane into a Kosovo mountainside) instead of DOD.

Why is it always Democrats who complain the loudest and first about how we prosecute issues of national security?

Joe 6-pack's editing:

I heard the failure to take Osama scene has been re-shot and now shows Bill (played by Harrison Ford) and Hillary (Madonna) in black Ninja gear approaching bin-Laden's (Kobe Bryant) mountain hideaway in the dead of night when they receive a phone call from Bob Bennett (Raymond Burr) telling them that he has just received a subpoena for Clinton's DNA from Ken Starr (Montgomery Burns). On the verge of taking bin-Laden into custody, a teary-eyed Bill tells Hillary that even though getting bin-Laden would be the right thing to do and save lives in the long run, Bill's lifelong devotion to law and justice means they must drop the task at hand in order to comply immediately with the subpoena. After a tearful embrace where Bill tells Hillary how much he loves her, and how they'll get another chance to get bin-Laden once she's president, the clinton's reluctantly turn away from bin-Laden's lair, and dejectedly return to the US so that Bill can be persecuted in the House impeachment hearings by Henry Hyde (Carrol O'Connor.)

The RATS understand perfectly well that if the American "swing voters" ever learn the truth, they may never win another election.
