WASHINGTON - A furious Bill Clinton is warning ABC that its mini-series "The Path to 9/11" grossly misrepresents his pursuit of Osama bin Laden - and he is demanding the network "pull the drama" if changes aren't made. Clinton pointedly refuted several fictionalized scenes that he claims insinuate he was too distracted by the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal to care about bin Laden and that a top adviser pulled the plug on CIA operatives who were just moments away from bagging the terror master, according to a letter to ABC boss Bob Iger obtained by The Post.
The former president also disputed the portrayal of then-Secretary of State Madeleine Albright as having tipped off Pakistani officials that a strike was coming, giving bin Laden a chance to flee.
"The content of this drama is factually and incontrovertibly inaccurate and ABC has the duty to fully correct all errors or pull the drama entirely," the four-page letter said.
The movie is set to air on Sunday and Monday nights. Monday is the fifth anniversary of the attacks.
Based on the 9/11 commission's report, the miniseries is also being provided to high schools as a teaching aid - although ABC admits key scenes are dramatizations.
The letter, written by Bruce Lindsey, head of the Clinton Foundation, and Douglas Bond, a top lawyer in Clinton's office, accuses the ABC drama of "bias" and a "fictitious rewriting of history that will be misinterpreted by millions of Americans."
Clinton, whose aides first learned from a TV trailer about a week ago that the miniseries would slam his administration, was "surprised" and "incredulous" when told about the film's slant, sources said.

Hillary is the biggest challenge to Bubba's legacy. A male president is the usual. But a female president?? That means....no matter what...she's one up on him.
Always said Bubba will be the one to bring her down a peg or ten. Let's wait and see.
Carver was on last night. He gave grave doubts that she would be the Pres candidate. More or less, what I've said all along. Every male who has had Presidential aspirations is going to stand aside. Me thinks not.
The film's slant? I heard it isn't kind to either Republicans or Democrats. But more so for Clinton because 8 years > 9 months.

If, and it is a Big IF, ABC caves - I think that would make the story even bigger. People would want to know what was cut from the original. The story would carry and be debated even longer. The more news this story gets the better. Rush says he's seen the movie and it is not flattering to anyone who was in government leading up to 9/11. I hope this reaches the cable shows.
I hope Bubba keeps screaming - he's worried about his leagacy and he should be. Let's have this debate, its about time the MSM took a close look at how inept and dangerous the Clinton administration was. THAT'S the Clinton legacy.

Exactly. The NY Post is probably the best selling newspaper in the NYC (also gets national exposure through Fox News). There selling them on every corner. I picked up my copy this morning.
This attempt to censor the truth is an absolute coverup on the part of the left and if you have the time or care enough, please let ABC know how you feel.
We are not ignorant and we will not stand by and have the truth censored. Ignoring history and the lessons it teaches dooms us to repeat the same mistakes of the past that have caused us so much pain and heartbreak.
