LOL! Tom, I wish I had your skills.
Where I live, we are TOO civilized! We have to put the wood in a keeper which is several inches above ground so that rats can't move in and hide. Drat!
Folks around here will eat dinner rolls any time of day for any reason. They are great comfort food. Heat them in the microwave, add some butter, and maybe jam, or stuff them like a little sandwich with deviled ham or whatever ...
I guess i never thought about that, not being able to get a canned good. Sometimes I just assume everyone has it. Sigh, I've never been out of the south, I really need to travel.
Thanks, Deb..that first video was indeed awesome. 2400 people...wow!
You must frmail me that recipe......My family loves spice cake with vanilla/cream cheese frosting....but I usually buy a mix to which I sometimes add applesauce and nuts...
LOL, we fight over the leftover ones. :)
Will send it now. Can I have your recipe as well? :)
Love that group hug in photo #1.
"My guess is he caught the eyes of the parents of the soldier he spoke of. They were there and just buried their son yesterday."
Oh Thanks for filling me in...How sad!
Some times I miss the explainations before I comment.
Howdy snugs, it was a great speech today, Thanks for the "Dose"
There ya go Gretchen. It does take lots of practice to get cornbread not to be dry and crumbly. My sainted grandmother made the best cornbread ever. It was always so moist and greasy, with crispy edges. I've never been able to duplicate her cornbread. I love it best of any bread if it is not dry.
Great video clips
LOL....my recipe is Duncan Hines Spice Cake....I just add applesauce and cut back on the oil and water in the batter...
You know mystery, that sounds like a good idea. Think I'll try that. Thanks.
That's exactly the reaction... sometimes a person will look away and say "oooookaaaaayyyy..."
We're all different! But I don't mention it much anymore. Which is why I was glad to know I'm not the only one in the world! lol
Let me know if you like it.....I know you will be able to tell the difference...
Mr.FF only recently discovered our local supermarket carries potato rolls. They are GREAT! When I was growing up all we got were those Arnold dinner rolls. Which are good, but the potato rolls are just so soft and delish!
You can get away with less quality and cheaper wood with a closed burner because you do not have to worry about the spitting.
In Britain our local newspaper have adverts from people selling wood especially for those type of burners maybe you have to same.
They normall quote price including delivery in Britain maybe they do the same where you are.
Yes, I've eaten that before too, and I love it.
From your mouth to God's ear. Seattle is ok, actually it's quite beautiful, but the libs make me crazy. And Seattle's traffic and housing costs are terrible. I'm glad to be going somewhere smaller, saner, and cheaper.
