Folks around here will eat dinner rolls any time of day for any reason. They are great comfort food. Heat them in the microwave, add some butter, and maybe jam, or stuff them like a little sandwich with deviled ham or whatever ...
LOL, we fight over the leftover ones. :)
We tend to eat rolls at lunch time with cheese, ham, corn beef, tuna etc in them.
Most British lunch boxes will contain 2 rolls with some sort of filling, a chocolate biscuit (cookie) and a packet of crisps (potato chips).
