I remember when the Jets flew by the apartment. I ran outside on the porch. I turned around and said help is here. There ours and we are safe. I never seen fighters that close since an air show. I thought maybe they were the boys from Syracuse. Fought in the Gulf War in 91. I got lucky. I walked home from Midtown. But when they flew over...I didn't want them to leave. Air National Guard from Mass.
Sam, you could have said much the same thing as you did in #78 without all the bluster and hysteria.
The beeps are a legal indicator to the calling party that the conversation is being recorded.
Thanks, I had read that.
It makes me angry that some city lawyers are blocking access to the full tapes.
It has been five years. They couldn't have asked for the families consent in five years? They must have pretty slow dial phones.
Moreover, these tapes need to be released to the public to remind us of what our enemy (Islamic fascism) did to us.
While our enemies place snow white stuffed animals into propaganda photos of dust covered wreckage, and parade dead children around from photo to photo, we suppress the truth about what they did to Americans.
Don't even Muzzle yourself okay? I hear you. I am so angry, always will be. I think it is even worse now since the MSM and the rest of the left tries to make us believe this didn't happen, or if it did, it was Bush's fault and we should just forget it and get along with these lower than animal scum.
No, that is not correct. Please read the rest of the thread. The city lawyers edited out the parts of the call.
re: sans bluster and hysteria.
You're correct. I over-blustered!
Here's Revision B:
"Knock of the Nuke Talk. No matter what happens, we ain't gonna bomb, much less nuke, Mecca!"
They are straight from hell, and that is where I pray God (the real one) sends them.
bump
His face went ashen and his lips curled in anger when someone asked him if America should keep having Sep 11th Remembrance Ceremonies.
He basically said that was just what the evil Bush administration wanted, and then tried to change the subject to class warfare and why the rich don't pay enough in taxes.
I wanted to throw up.
Well, they "teased" it, so it should come on shortly.
HORRIBLE tapes. Just horrible.
WE MUST DESTROY our enemy. There is no other choice.
"The Govt and the City of New York should not be holding this information back anymore." - Hannity's Liberal guest named Norm Siegel
Hannity saying he can't believe Liberals want to debate NSA listening to the phone calls of terrorists.
I think your question (SE Mom) about the response to the JonBenet story is a good one. Maybe, it's still much too painful to deal with 09/11. The JonBenet case is a little more 'localized' if you will. Although, as I parent I think it's terrible and tragic. It doesn't get to my gut like the 09/11 massacre does. And that 09/11 massacre still haunts because there are some in this country that simply refuse, flat-out deny, that we should stomp the terrorists into the ground. I think no matter what horrible fate we could plan for the perpetrators of 09/11, it could not possible equal the hell those innocent civilians went through that day. Just my humble opinion. May their souls rest in peace.
They have released tapes in pieces and parts, and edited parts, and not other parts.
Now saying the phone operators gave conflicting information all over the place "Go to the roof, don't go to the roof, stay where you are, don't stay - leave" etc.
I agree with him on that.
You know- aside from the topic- I noticed something rare in that interview. A liberal and a conservative looking for common ground. Seigel and Hannity were genuine. Good for both of them.
