I feel like calling the WH and the State Dept, and telling them that we are not falling for the propaganda.
Not like it would do any good of course.

No, I didn't. That was Modok's comment to 'angryjordanian'.

the White House says that it is "critical that Israel use restraint" They are. A lot of restraint. Nobody but the Hizbus want a general war in the ME. Maybe Iran does, too, when they are in the mouth-foaming phase of being, but not when they are sober.

What the heck is the Qana building? Why do you assume that we would know what it is?It's been on 'breaking' since 9:30 this morning, for one.

It's working. Former Navy Sec. Dalton is saying we must negotiate with the Hezzies.
He says that we should go back to things the way they were before the "hostilities". Former Navy Sec. Dalton is a former Clintonista ... he helped raise big money for Clinton in the run up to the '92 election and was subsequently appointed Navy Secretary ... he's from Little Rock. 'Nuff said ..

Yallah ya Nasrallah, ya garbage.
Anyone who hasn't seen this might find it a catchy tune.
--I've been humming this tune for about a day now. Almost inspired me to go join the IDF for a brief tour.
"...we will send you back to Allah with all the Hezzbolla!"

The insults are very crude but culturally apppropriate to show Israeli disdain for Nasrallah and the hezzies.
In fact, the crudity of the song's words shows how different Israelis are from the US. Much more "eastern european" or even Russian in their attitudes. This was a surporise ot me when I viisted Israel. They are our ally, but in many ways they are quite different from us and I don't think people who think they are the US "mini-me" expect or understand that.

"The bombing of a train in India killed hundredsBR>
It got a 1/2 day of coverage. "
But you forget. That bombing did not advance the hate-Israel agenda of the drive-by media.
So of course they were only going to spend much time covering it.
This is the precisely the time for Israel to redouble they attacks on Hizbullah, and wipe out those vermin. "civillian casualties" be damned!

From Michelle's site:
The images include one of a group of men and youths preparing to fire an anti-aircraft gun metres from an apartment block with sheets hanging out on a balcony to dry.
Others show a militant with AK47 rifle guarding no-go zones after Israeli blitzes.
Another depicts the remnants of a Hezbollah Katyusha rocket in the middle of a residential block blown up in an Israeli air attack.
The Melbourne man who smuggled the shots out of Beirut and did not wish to be named said he was less than 400m from the block when it was obliterated.
"Hezbollah came in to launch their rockets, then within minutes the area was blasted by Israeli jets," he said.
"Until the Hezbollah fighters arrived, it had not been touched by the Israelis. Then it was totally devastated.

Why would he have thought his HOUSE was "off-limits"?
Why would the media say bombing it would be "a dramatic expansion"?
They are all crazy.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear - I posted to you only because you had posted the question, not because I thought you were being critical (some others were, but it wasn't you). My apologies!

Reports are that the missle struck adjacent to the building (where the rocket launchers were) and that the concussion of the blast pancaked the building holding the cowering women, children and old men idiots begging to die for the cause.
There.

Still waiting to see the video, and the analysis of it. Hizb takes advantage of the emotions of the Arabs, and feeds the anger.
Oh, and txran, nobody is bashing Bush. The Israeli's do make mistakes, and sometimes even attack a target on purpose. Blind support of a foreign country that occasionally has interests opposed to the best interest of the USA is not flattering. I smell a "courtesy timeout".
To: wolf24
The old Hezbollah/Hamas playbook is starting to look outdated. Riding in ambulances so that they can cry foul when the Israelis hit them, putting rocket launchers around civilian populations and UN camps, etc. As long as all-feeling/no-thinking bleeding hearts libs continue to buy into it (which of course they do), the playbook is still effective.

The israeli spokesman said it is video of a rocket being fired from behind a SIMILAR building
