At least two or three people shoot.
SEATTLE – At least two people have been shot at the Jewish Federation at 2031 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle. One or two people have been taken into custody but it's not known if they are suspects.
One person was reportedly shot in the abdomen and another in the arm. They are being taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Part of Third Avenue and Second Avenue have been closed to traffic. Police are urging people to stay away from the area. It's not known if more suspects are at large but policemen were seen handcuffing one person and others were searching the area.
At least three people were seen emerging from the building, escorted by police. It's not know if they were hostages.
Medics, escorted by police, have been taking other people from the building.

Lord have mercy. The local newsbabe is saying 'Police don't have a motive.' Well, jebus, Mary and Joseph. He's a Muslim, they're Jewish. What more motive do they need?

I have finally switched from the live video streaming of KING TV CH5 to that of KIRO TV CH7...
From what I am hearing CH7 is more PC than CH5.
Ironic isn't it that the authorities seem reluctant to report that Muslims do these things...so that WE don't overreact to Muslims...
BUT, it is okay for them to overreact to the war in Lebanon and kill people. It obviously is "okay" to a certain extent, or the authorities, and media would be YELLING the ancestry of the alleged shooter.
Up to now I've avoided getting my CCW. Looks like I can't afford to do that any more.
We've got to get some conservative, truthful (redundant, I realize) kids into J-School. People who enjoy their own faces and voices who can write a little.
The coverage of this (like someone else mentioned earlier, eerily familiar to the LAX counter shooting) is a contortion of Political Correctness that, hopefully, most Americans, libs and cons, can see through. It's been intellectually insulting.

Sounds to me like she's just dumb and is trying to wing it and fill time.
No matter how hard they try, the newsies won't be able to downplay this. This one didn't happen at the L.A. airport, this one happened at the Jewish Federation. There is a big difference.
Ain't that the truth. It would eclipse all war news from the Middle East, and every talk show would be discussing it non-stop for the next two weeks.
You do realize that the "alleged" victims were most likely Jewish and anything they said relating to this crime is highly suspect. /heavy sarc

I feel so naive...because I was actually surprised when I heard about this.
I pray fervently that this will be all...that there won't be a wave of this.
I heard Mark Levin..at the end of his show..say that he expects something to happen here soon...he even mentioned what he expects...but, I don't feel like repeating it.

"Jewish Institutions Put on Alert"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "WASHINGTON — Jewish institutions across America have been put on heightened alert following reports that Hezbollah, the terrorist organization that Israel is battling in Lebanon, might attempt to strike targets outside the Middle East. The backdrop of his televised appearance was a photo of New York’s World Trade Center as it burned after being attacked by Al-Qaeda in 2001.
The alert was issued Tuesday, before Al Qaeda’s second-in-command, Ayman al-Zawahiri, threatened that his organization “will attack everywhere” to avenge Israel’s bombing in Lebanon. “All the world is a battlefield open in front of us,” said Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden’s deputy, in a taped message broadcast Thursday on Al-Jazeera, the pan-Arab television channel.
Zawahiri’s threat is likely to further intensify calls for Jewish institutions to be vigilant and increase security precautions in the face of potential attacks, according to officials with national Jewish groups.
The possibility of terrorist activity aimed at Israeli and Jewish targets worldwide was discussed Thursday at Israel’s Cabinet meeting in Jerusalem. Israeli security officials predicted that Hezbollah would seek authorization from Tehran to carry out such actions, Ha’aretz reported.
Hezbollah has attacked Jewish targets outside Israel in the past, albeit not in the United States."
