Some conditions merely require more discipline than others

Exactly. We all have to exercise (no pun intended) self-discipline.

Those who don't, become alcoholics, drug addicts, criminals, liberals, obese....you name it.

Self discipline is disappearing at about the same rate as the increase in the number of people who are seriously overweight.

Many times I have been behind a fat woman in the checkout line and noticed all the icecream, cookies, cakes, candy, etc. being purchased and her sucking on an open bottle of a non-diet soft drink like her life depended on it. Now there's self discipline for you.

Nothing kills my appetite faster than to be in a grocery store and see an overweight woman with bare flesh around her middle sticking out like a half-opened can of Pillsbury biscuits.

I know that some people are jumping on you like Rosie O'Donnell on a pot roast, but that's funny right there.

As you've no doubt learned, "overweight" is a very subjective term. I prefer more objective terms like "bucket butt". They more accurately describe the physique you're referring to. "Bucket butt" or "lard ass" cannot possibly be mistaken for a reference to someone with a little extra curvature to her form. (Though, it probably takes a bit of willful extrapolation to get there from your Pillsbury biscuits remark. Even more accurate terms may not prevent such a person from taking offense.)

I was once in a local Subway, and a truly, morbidly obese woman came in, and ordered six whole subs, carefully considering and choosing the different bread and toppings. She paid, sat down and ate them all. I was wondering if I was witnessing some strange misinterpretation of all those "Subway Diet" commercials, only to see her arise, go back to the counter, and enquire about the cookies, wondering if they were "moist." Apparently they were.

That woman is famous for her fat butt. I have seen that picture on several websites. It has got to be five years old or older. She surely knows its out there and maybe has done something about it since she is the poster child for fat lard butted women.

There is, however, a difference between voluptuous and voluminous.

Of course! In some cases the difference is significant. Bottom line: one person's delight is another's disgust.

Oh yeah? Well we get a lot of overweight, middle-aged, thong-wearing, Brazilian women at our town beach on weekends. Take that.

Northern Brazil CapeCod?

"Loose women have always tempted men. Think Ava Gardner in "The Sun Also Rises" or Lee Remick in "Anatomy of Murder."

They both beat the jack-booted, tattoed, pierced male- wannabe lesbians and crypto lesbians of the "Feminist" movement.

We will now pause for a musical interlude featuring the rock group Queen with their 70's hit "Fat-Bottom Girls you Make the Rockin' World go 'round".

LOL - very descriptive with words, I see!

I've seen the kind your talking about - the 60 lb fat roll, splitting and spilling over the top of a worn-out pair of stretch pants like an overcooked brat bursting out of its skin.

Lovely creatures, aren't they?
