They repeat it in the ad because that is all they are allowed to claim once the FDA got done telling them what they could say.

Nothing nicer than a group of guerrilla fighters assembling in one place and trying to slug it out using conventional warfare. Have the Israelis got the MOAB?
Just waitin' for the little girls to write greetings on it...

B-52's did have external Bomb Racks on the wings from which the dropped anything from practise bombs to The X-15.
in this obviously photoshopped picture the three stray bombs were released from wing pylons between the inner engine pod and the wing root.

But what about that Viagra commercial with that four hour problem they warn you about? [snip] ...run right to the emergency room and say....what?Um, unless he's wearing very, very baggy pants, I don't suppose he'd have to say anything.

Fox immediately cut away for fluff. They didn't even put the name of the town at the bottom (maybe they can't spell it.) LOL...hell hath no fury like the American public denied of their mindless fluff for even a few moments.
There's a reason why we can't really fight wars anymore...first time an enemy comes around with the Islamofascist mentality matched with decent weaponry and even a half-bucket of smarts, we'll be a world of hurt.
AP moving the goal posts to rob the Israelis of any possible victory. Watch for this inserted into their articles.
Mideast observers say Hezbollah only has to remain standing not beat Israel to emerge victorious in Arab eyes.
As if the unnamed "Mideast observers" (aren't we all Mideast observers these days?) had some kind of consensus on outcome metrics for the war. And what does "remain standing" mean? One Hezbollah survivor ensures victory, providing he can still stand up?
Imagine if AP pulled this spin crap on Hezbollah, i.e. "If Israel remains standing after the battles, they will emerge victorious."
What a crock the AP is.

I think a 'pitched' battle is one that is set in a particular location.
As opposed to a 'running' battle where both sides are mobile
WIKIPEDIA
A pitched battle is a battle where both sides choose to fight at a chosen location and time and where either side has the option to disengage either before the battle starts, or shortly after the first armed exchanges.

Iran: Grand Ayatollah Calls on Muslims to Help Hizbollah 'Any Way They Can'
Iranian Students News Agency WWW-Text
Monday, July 24, 2006
ISNA news agency - 24 July 06 - The grand Ayatollah Fazel-Lankarani has said: Currently, the entire Muslim world is facing blasphemy, and the resistance by Hezbollah forces serve as a reminder of the resistance of Imam Ali (the first Shi'i imam) against Amr Ibn Abdud.
According to ISNA's religious correspondent, the grand Ayatollah Fazel-Lankerani made the remark in a speech to seminarians from all over the country who are taking part in a Koranic camp in Qom.
Criticizing the silence of Islamic governments and forums in the face of the Zionist atrocities against the people of Lebanon, he said: It is clear that these operations were masterminded by America, with the consent of disinterested states.
Stressing that in view of today's sensitive circumstance, the Islamic world's ulema and people must be vigilant, the grand ayatollah called on all Muslims to assist the Hezbollah and defenceless Lebanese people in any way they can.
(Passage omitted: on the importance of Koranic teaching)
