The correspondant on Fox is reporting on an important battle going on in Lebanon. He said Hizbellah seems to be deciding to make a stand near a small town and a "pitched, important battle" is going on right now. They are showing pictures of the war overhead.

Was watching a CNN interview this morning with Hemmer (?) and the brother of one of the kidnapped Israeli soldiers.

He asked the brother "Is all this worth it for one person?"

Don't normally like to cuss, but found myself calling him a B@$+@rd all morning long.

Cafferty is on CNN and telling about mine own fine Senator, Mr. Biden, who wrote a letter requesting a "special envoy" to be sent over to Lebanon. Of course curmudgeon Cafferty has to suggest someone for that position.

His first choice? Bill Clinton, of course.

The Clinton gang wants to get their mitts in this so bad but hey, why didn't they deal with it when they could?

And what's the deal with this letter by Reid and Biden? So they write a stupid letter. I write letters all the time.

But oh no, they have a press conference and make a big deal about nothing just to throw something out there. To get the team that failed some attention is what I'm thinking here.

Since you've got the experience in the cockpit, perhaps you might be able to explain some apparent anomalies in the photograph:

Although the picture seems to show a B-52 unloading over a target area, several of the munitions appear far forward of where they ought to be had they just been released from the racks, and there is a line of four bombs just above the paint line under the starb'd wing. Don't want to nitpick 'cuz I appreciate the sentiment, but, IIRC, this bird does not deliver from external hard points. Correct?

I finally took the time to look up this "Head On" stuff because I had no idea what these comments were referring to. I guess I've been lucky not to have seen the commercial, but then I went to YouTube.com and ended up ruining my day by viewing it. Arggghhh!!!!
