Isrealis have bombed sections of the Beruit to Damascus Highway.
[CNN is trying to confirm this report.]

Yawn...
Enjoy your free panic attack. This thread will be an embarassment within 6 hours, as news catches up with facts, and the wild-eyed headline for this thread goes from "Iranian Guard shoots missile" to the less inflamatory "Hezbollah fires Iranian Missile."

range of 50 Kilometers, these were clearly from Lebanon Fired from Lebanon, not Iran - that's what I said. And the thread is *about* Iranians having done the deed.

"Thank you Jimmy Carter!!! Thank-you for pulling our support for that awful Shah. Just look at the wonderful government you have wrought in Iran now. You must be so proud. We should award you the Nobel Peace Prize."
That was the first thought through my old 67 year old mind.
That GD Carter was the most dangerous president of all time.

It seems to me that the Iranians know what they're doing, and either they do not believe the U.S. will do anything, or that they believe they can truly eradicate Israel, perhaps with various forms of WMD's.
In any case, the mad mullah's have bitten off way more than they can chew if this turns out to be true, IMO.
I'm more than ready for this, including whatever price spikes for gas and oil that may be coming due to an all out conflict in the middle east.
Time to finish this BS in the ME once and for all, IMO.

"Was the missile merely "made in Iran", or was it actually fired by Iranian military operating in Lebanon?" The Fox person stated that it was fired by Iranian guard operating there.

I don't doubt what you're saying, just wondering if someone at FNC got overexcited when they heard it was an Iranian missile and put 2 and 2 together themselves and ended up with 5.
Did he mention "a source" or what?
To: pissant
I disagree. If true, it's damn good. My guess is the Iranians will deny it 100% I meant in that it was not good because it would represent a MAJOR escalation of the matter, to involvement of another nation. Irregardless of Iranian denial, if one of their military units did it, it may be hard to keep the genie in the bottle.

Actually, this regional war began when the Iranian Thugs took over our Embassy and Carter allowed this to happen.
You're 100% right!
