US has come to a political dead-end
TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Commander in chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, noting that the Islamic Revolution of Iran has inspired the regional states, said that the present political trend in such regional countries as Iraq and Palestine reveals that the Americans have come to a political dead-end.
Speaking at a ceremony to introduce the new IRGC air force commander at the IRGC air force headquarters, commander in chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi mentioned, "Iran is passing through a sensitive period of time while it has decisive years ahead."
Comparing the Islamic Revolution with the other world revolutions, Safavi described the Iranians' revolution as the greatest popular uprising of the 21st century which has roots in a school of thought.
IRGC commander in chief stated that the Islamic Revolution of Iran had inspired other countries of the region and said, "the political trend existing in the regional countries such as Iraq and Palestine indicates that the Americans have come to a political dead-end and the Iraqi parliamentary elections, victory of Hamas in the Palestinian elections and the role that Hezbollah plays in Lebanon all substantiate to this very same fact."
Major General Rahim Safavi also underlined that if the trans-regional enemies dare to consider invasion of Iran, then the IRGC air force will be ready to mightily respond to the trans-regional threats posed to the country.
He also described air force as a specialized and elite force of the IRGC and said that much attention was paid to it by the enemies of Iran.
