Second katyusha has hit Haifa. They're raining across all of Northern Israel.

"These rockets shot into Haifa purpurtedly have a range of 18 Miles, whereas the standard Katushas have a range of 6 miles."

Check the map. I was in Haifa and Akko just 10 days ago. I don't remember the exact miles, but I think it's a bit more than 18 to Rosh HaNikra, which is still on the Israeli side. Asuming the missle wasn't fired from the border itself, It would require more range.

If this is true then very shrotly Israel will go in full power to annihilate this cancer of Islamic terrorism called Hizballah.

It's about 300,000 people. I would say it's the number three city in Israel behind Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. It's the equivalent of a missile hitting Houston or Chicago.

I know, I know. Israel fired them themselves, just to make Hez look bad. No doubt in my mind. I'm pretty sure the UN will fall for it. EU also. Boy, those Israeli's are pretty tricky.

Hez denies firing missles that hit Haifa

That's funny, because hitting Haifa is exactly what they threatened to do earlier today. Must be those pesky Amish again.

i'd like to hear who did fire those missiles then. FYI - I'm hearing from others on another board with aquaintences in the IDF that they are hopping mad about the missile attack into Hafia and to look for a full invasion into Lebanon (at least to reoccupy the southern portion and neutralize the missile threat)

35% to 40% of the Lebanese population inside Lebanon is Christian. If you add the Lebanese people in Diaspora the Christians will then constitute over 60% of all Lebanese people.

I'm sick and tired of the "international community" either winking at evil, or actively supporting it. Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria, Iran, and Saddam have long been the bad actors in the region. We've taken out Saddam. It's way past time to deal with the other scum. We sit around and cow-tow to Kofi and the Euroweenies. I'm tired of it. Bush drew a line in the sand after 9/11 and hit back hard. It's way past time that we tell Israel that we give them the same latitude, and in fact, become full partners with Israel in the war on terror, that they've been fighting for nearly 40 years since the rise of the PLO.

Any plans for Syria by the IDF? Does your other board speculate?

I was thinking about pinging you, jveritas, to one of these threads.

Do you have any family still in Lebanon?

Nobody hurt (so far) in attack on Central Haifa, but more than 120 civilians (and climbing) have been wounded in other rocket attacks in Nahariya, Safed and Carmiel.
