CNN) -- With the presidential election more than two years away, a CNN poll released Monday suggests that nearly half of Americans would "definitely vote against" Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Respondents were asked whether they would "definitely vote for," "consider voting for," or "definitely vote against" three Democrats and three Republicans who might run for president in 2008.
Regarding potential Democratic candidates, 47 percent of respondents said they would "definitely vote against" both Clinton, the junior senator from New York who is running for re-election this year, and Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, the party's candidate in 2004. (Poll)
Forty-eight percent said the same of former Vice President Al Gore, who has repeatedly denied he intends to run again for president.

I respectfully disagree. After all, Mrs. Clinton did not serve in Vietnam ;-)
The question is, who do the Powers That Be (the elites) want to be Prez? They'll tell the MSM to push this person to the front of the pack, and the Dems will follow in lockstep, believing that they have a true, free choice in our political system. (Pardon my cynicism, please.)
What would we do without polls?
"Would you vote for me?
No!
No...
Hell No!!
LOL! The song "Shake Your Coconuts" is running in the background on the TV and it's in time with Shrillery's googly eyes.
Who, fellow FReepers, will we be stuck with? Won't be any sort of conservative, bet your behind.
i would vote for YOU.
LOL, for dogcatcher?
Watch out or you'll owe me another linch!
The silly hours approach
Shush, if you didn't like it you would 'stay home'!!
C'mon, what about the sexist pig brigade. Most 'Rat's treat women like Clintoon (i.e. receptacles), they surely can't bring themselves to vote for a "receptacle" for president.
Considering this is a DNCNN poll the true number is 55%, these peoples minds are not going to change no matter how many commercials. And just when we were told how America loves the coclintons??
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
Nope, I think we all missed that!!
Well .. we don't know who they used in their poll. These just happen to be those who get the highest "NO" votes that they're willing to talk about.
And .. if Romney and Allen didn't get that many "NO" votes - then there would be plenty of reason not to mention them.
To me it shows who the CNN-types want you to believe is the contender vs who the real contender might be. They love to throw McCain and Rudy and Jeb out there as the front runners, when neither of them have that strong a showing in other polls.
My guess is that 20% of the no votes were the kook left wing base being angry with her over the war. Probably 15% of those would 'come back home' for a general election vote, but the poll is still good news.
You're right, Hillary will need a major Botox makeover. But she's not alone. That's What's disgusting about a number of Washington politicians, male included. Just look at the makeup and hairdos. I've never seen more totally Grey haired young men in my life, as in the House and Senate . The men have to be spending as much time in the beauty salons as the women.
