The West has been defeated...?
I wonder what he is going to say when his nuclear power station has its first melt-down and his country starts glowing in the dark.

I think, sometimes, we will just NEVER learn. These people won't "negotiate" with us in good faith. We are, in their eyes, only infidels. To deny that fact is suicide.

President Bush should have carpet-bombed Syria. Seriously, he should have just turned Syria into a freaking parking lot and then said "OK, Iran & Iraq, you jerk us around anymore, and I'll do the same to you", and meant it.

I am waiting for Israel to clean Iran's clocks. This waiting is a total waste to time.

"I am waiting for Israel to clean Iran's clocks. . . ."
Well I hope it doesn't come to that, but I cannot imagine that the Israelis will take Ahmadinejad's threat to "wipe Israel off the map" lightly. Iran has been supporting Hezbollah and Hamas in their terrorist campaign against Israel, so the Israelis do have precedent they can cite.
There are only three possibilities as I see it. 1) The international community, acting through the auspices of the UN convinces Iran to deal. (None of us are holding are breath for this, but it is at least a logical possibility.) 2) After the international effort fails the U.S. and a "coalition of the willing" strike Iranian nuclear facilities and support infrastructure directly. 3) The Israelis launch their own attack.
It's 1, 2, or 3. Take your pick.
To: StJacques
Three.
There will never be a "coalition" of the willing, because of the wimps that are on the international scene. The UN and Iran will never come to a deal because the Iranians will say "No" to any compromise.
A massive preemptive strike on all nuclear and command and control facilities. The IDF will accomplish their objectives because they are the best of military organization in the world. Every war she has encountered, she has done it alone and she was won. And she will win this one hands down.

I do not contest your comments about the capabilities and professionalism of the Israelis. But I think option #2 is the one we should expect. I truly believe that the U.S. will launch its own strike, after the November elections, possibly early next year.
And please do not take my comments as suggesting any disapproval or lack of support for Israel -- far from it. I just think the U.S. will fear an Islamic "rally round the faithful" type of reaction if the Israelis strike and, seeking to avoid that, we will do the job ourselves.
But if we do nothing, I expect Israel will act.
To: StJacques
I do not think that the U.S. will launch a strike due to the morass in Iraq. Too many forces(especially the Air Force) is alloted to destroying Al Queda facilities and destroying the insurgency through the country.
My smart money is on Israel. The IAF will rule the skies and destroy Iran's ability to wage war in a quick and surgical manner.Israel will win.

West has been "defeated!",
Comment:
Yes Senor Ahmadinejaddingdong the West has been "defeated!", just ask any French leaning leftist, Hate America First liberal Democrat if you don't believe me.
Mr Ahmadinejad here is Nancy Poopaloosers Congressional telephone number 1-888-BR8-459.
You may not be able to talk with Nancy, she is a little busy screaming defeat.
Or you might try Congressman Jack Murthas number.
I won't give his number here since you already have Jack listed in your Rolodex.
