Nancy Pelosi: Zarqawi Death Changes Nothing

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is warning Americans not to get too excited over the death of Abu Musab al Zarqawi, saying in a statement issued by her office Thursday that it really won't do much to improve the situation in Iraq.
After briefly noting that she was "proud of our troops for their tireless work," the top House Democrat wasted no time in throwing cold water on the good news.
"[Zarqawi's] death does not alter the fact that our brave men and women in uniform are fighting a war of choice in which the President sent our troops into harm's way without a plan for victory and without leveling with the American people," she complained.
"Several hours after Zarqawi's death, 19 Iraqis were killed and 40 were wounded in a roadside bombing in Baghdad," the San Francisco Democrat noted. "These deaths are a stark reminder of the ongoing violence facing our brave men and women in uniform."
Pelosi said she still agreed with Rep. John Murtha that the U.S. should pull out of Iraq, then added: "Zarqawi's death should be a resounding call to President Bush and the Republican Congress that we must have a serious debate about U.S. policy in Iraq."

yadda yadda yadda. Same old same old. The tune and the lyrics never change. It's like listening to someone nag at you constantly. Pretty soon you just tune them out. it reminds me of their comment (Bela & Dingy Harry) after W's 2005 SOTU speech...the Dims are "kinda like the movie 'Groundhog Day'...the same (failed) ideology over and over again."
In one sense, Bela is right...Zarqawi's death does change nothing. Those who took him out still can be trusted to run the country and to prosecute the WOT; those who didn't take him out, cannot. Rarely has THAT been more clear.

As Rush Limbaugh says...they are predictable. Like "...every square inch of his glorious, naked body..." I can imagine that between Bela's comments, and Murtha, and Pete Starkravingmad, the first thing Rush will say tomorrow morning is "Don't doubt me".

...I would have thought that a blind, brain dead baboon on crack would have known enough to give a gruding "we support the troops who brought this terrorist to justice" type statement. And they do, but Palousey would have to get a whole lot smarter to equal one of your examples before "it" could ever hope to "get it". It ain't never gonna happn. Her brand of brain dead isn't fixable. Who'd want to!

"[Zarqawi's] death does not alter the fact that our brave men and women in uniform are fighting a war of choice in which the President sent our troops into harm's way without a plan for victory and without leveling with the American people,"
She says that like this is a bad thing.
First, she calls it a war of choice. Nevermind the fact that libs love choice. Implicit in that phrase is that if Dems were in charge, they would have made a different choice, and that Zarqawi, the most active terrorist since 9/11 would be alive and well, training recruits and planning operations.
Then she says Bush had no "plan for victory". Wasn't Bush's plan to kill terrorists in Iraq before they kill us in the USA? Seems like he might have had some success in that department.
Then she says Bush didn't "level with the American people". He's been saying basically since September 12 that he's going to smoke em out and bring em to justice. It seems like he's making good on that promise as well.
So, Ms Speaker, tell us. What would have been your choice - keep Saddam in power, or keep him free? What was your plan for victory in the War On Terror? What is it now? Please name three occasions on which you have ever leveled with the American people in your entire life.

You're absolutely right Nancy, you're still stupid and ugly.

"[Zarqawi's] death does not alter the fact that our brave men and women in uniform are fighting a war of choice in which the President sent our troops into harm's way without a plan for victory and without leveling with the American people," she complained. Bela, you ignorant sl@t... First, it's an all-volunteer military, so it's everybody's choice. Second, in a war, people do get in harm's way. This is one thing that escapes you idiot liberals and Democrats and is why you can never, ever be trusted with the security of our country.

Pelosi is a cupid stunt...and the best thing to happen to the GOP in a long time...heh heh...

If we had pulled out when the leftists demanded it, Zarqawi would still be alive today. I have no doubt that she is cheering for America's enemies in this fight.
We kill Zarqawi and she says that "we must have a serious debate about US policy in Iraq". As if we did the WRONG thing in killing Zarqawi.

"House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi" ----- " the top House Democrat wasted no time in throwing cold water on the good news".
"House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi" ---- " is warning Americans not to get too excited" --- "it really won't do much to improve the situation in Iraq."
Her words are and will enable the terrorist to strike again. Terrorists read words like this and are thrilled. The terrorist will not be responsible for future attacks, they know the Democrats and the DBM will blame President Bush. Terrorist are celebrating her words.
I hold Nancy Pelosi responsible!

SanFranNan should spend more time trying to make nice with the Congressional Black Caucus and "Bill the Chill" Jefferson in her very own Culture of Corruption, and less time with things she knows absolutely nothing about: our national security.
