Democrats call Zarqawi killing a stunt
The Washington Times ^ | 4:09 p.m., June 8, 2006 | Amy Fagan

Some Democrats, breaking ranks from their leadership, today said the death of terrorist leader Abu Musab Zarqawi in Iraq was a stunt to divert attention from an unpopular and hopeless war.

"This is just to cover Bush's [rear] so he doesn't have to answer" for Iraqi civilians being killed by the U.S. military and his own sagging poll numbers, said Rep. Pete Stark, California Democrat. "Iraq is still a mess -- get out."

I noticed another thing to ( as per usual) in the original article:

They only mention STARK & Kucinich as " Speaking out "!

BUT...the TITLE of the article:

"Democrat-"S"" make it sound like 15- or so have SPLIT to be out spoken!

WERE these two--and the others mentioned as being BUTT-MONKIES : the same ones who voted NO for " Should we PULL OUT NOW from IRAQ " when a while back the Republicans Placed this on a Floor Vote to SHUT UP the dems???

See!-NOW everyone knows why it is so important to Print & save all this important info whaen you can so you can have it ready!!

Me too, but as long as the law protects their "free" speech. Not much we can do against them.

Allow me to give you a sneak peak at tomorrow's New York Times headline:

HERO TO MANY BRUTALLY SLAIN
AL-ZARQAWI, FREEDOM FIGHTER FOR IRAQ, MURDERED BY AMERICAN INVADERS

Bakura, Iraq (AP) -- In what can be best described as yet another horrific American atrocity, Mohammad al-Zarqawi was murdered in cold blood by American troops. Followers of the bold and forward-thinking man stated that he made no provocational actions towards these troops, and described their actions as barbaric and senseless.

"Why would you kill such a man," lamented one follower, "he was only playing with some kittens on the rug at the time! This is a far greater atrocity than Hadditha!"

Several Democrat Congressional and Senatorial representatives have called for immediate hearings to see if the American forces can be charged under UMJC law for the bloodletting, pointing out that these forces in no way tried to negotiate or coax Al-Zarqawi out. Barbara Boxer asked, "Doesn't America DESERVE all the terrorism we are getting? Shouldn't we be HELPING al-Qaeda? We need to destroy this country of ours, this Great Satan!"

(continued on page A-8)

Zarq was a slug who beheaded Americans simply for being Americans, has been killing fellow Muslims and blowing up Mosques, trying to incite civil war in Iraq. He has directly and indirectly lead to the death of our soldiers and seeing him off was a good thing.

Calling this a stunt makes it seem that the administration organized, or orchestrated it as a PR event. Step back, take a breath and think about that.

This was a military goal. This isn't a Bush thing, it's an Our Military Thing. Many Libs talk out of both sides of their mouth, saying "oh yeah, we're strong on defense too, we support the military, we just despise the administration." Our fighting men & women are proud of ridding the world of this scum and in doing so, hope that they've reached another milestone on their path to bring some stability and safety to the region and our lives in general. Some of the Libs just pissed on their accomplishment. Shame on them.

I understand that not all Libs think this way, and those that do not should take this opportunity step up to admonish these other weasely types if they expect to maintain any semblance of sincerity in standing with our Armed Forces.

Is anybody watching the ridiculous questions the MSM is asking this morning of our military spokesman, Caldwell (I'm sorry I forgot his rank).

They want to know if there was a bullet in him? Did he get any medical aid? How many minutes before the US troops got there? How could he have survived so intact?

Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, Michigan Democrat, said it was good news but added, "I think we have a long way to go."

Really? Tell us something we don't know, Cheeky. Now I see where Kwame gets his smarts from.

Uh....how do they know his body was intact?

They saw the 'intact' face and heard he was alive (maybe for 10 minutes only) and figured he was alive.

Funny, that they don't recall that if they even read the one article Newsweek once ran on the victims of the homicide bombings in Israel, they would know all is not as it appears.

The victim maybe intact when rescuers arrive, but they have a look in their eyes as their brains have been severely and fatally shaken in their heads by the blast.

I haven't had time to read the whole thread, but USA Today is reporting that Zarqo was the only person to survive the bombing. He died shortly after.

Thank you Rep. Pete Stark for clearly elaborating Democrat positions and platforms.

Zarquari (good, or at least not a problem for the world)
US Military--evil.

Got it.

The Rats have such a lovable "House" of characters: Jefferson, McDermott, McKinney, Stark, etc. I am sure the voters want to send more of them to DC--NOT.

Brit Hume's show on Fox last night mentioned that Fat Teddy actually had the sense to applaud the troops and then keep his mouth shut.

Yeah Rush was being overly kind to the RATS. I am sure, he thought they would have to sleep on it before their utter garbage spilled forth. But he forgot people like Pete Stark don't really sleep, they just bounch off the rubber cell walls a little slower.
