ABC News Update:
BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP)— Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

Sounds to me like you have been seriously misinformed as to why we are fighting in Iraq.
So opinion is divided between the openly delusional and the openly traitorous.

Read this and tell me Iraq didn't pose a threat to the US. Do you know that they knew 9/11 was coming? Do you think the anthrax came from Iraq, because I do and so do a lot of other respected people in government.
Fritz Hollings mentioned on the floor of the Senate that Iraq's state run newspaper knew exactly what was coming to the United States -- in July 2001 they published an article about it.

Before 9/11 (August 2001?), Saddam put his military on the highest state of readiness since the first Gulf War, goes into a bunker with his two wives (who hated each other and had never before been housed together) and does not emerge until well after 9/11.

I think it's got to do with the whole peace and love teachings of Christ. He never did say to NOT stand up to evil exactly, but sometimes our human minds extrapolate that Jesus would not have liked us doing certain things.
