he'll launch an investigation into what he called "orgies" involving CIA agents at the Watergate hotel.

This is absurd and infantile on the part of King.

Why do I feel like I am listening to junior high school kids??

"prostitutes and booze and gambling"

Sounds like the Whitehouse during a Democratic Administration.

The War On Terror is officially just another pork barrel project.

It is hilarious that Peter King, a longtime supporter and promoter of terrorist organizations, is now pretendingb to care about the efficiency of anti-terrorism agencies.

Was it Rush yesterday who said that a lot of the money NY received initially was for projects that have now been completed? If so, PK should stop behaving like a spoiled brat who had his milk money stolen.

warning Thursday morning that unless the cuts are restored, he'll launch an investigation into what he called "orgies" involving CIA agents at the Watergate hotel.

So let me get this straight. If they give him the money he won't investigate this corruption?

And the Department of Homeland Security gave them a $21 million contract to drive their top officials around Washington."

I question why stupid useless bureaucrats cannot drive themselves around Washington. After all a stupid drunken useless congressman by the name of Patrick Kennedy is left to driving himself around Washington. What id good enough for wealthy drunken elected officeholders should be good enough for nameless faceless useless bureaucrats who still do not have a clue who planted anthrax in the congressional mails. Some department of homeland security!

Why wasn't I invited to any of these orgies? I'm cool. I'm "hip."

This guy is really unhinged. Further proof New York State is a sewer of liberalism that should be abandoned to Canada. I guess this loser thinks pork money to New York is all we need to prevent terrorism, not a functioning and enabled intelligence service which he in his pathetic temper tantrum is proposing to embarrass and hobble with some tabloid investigation. Good job idiot. Get a life you insufferable demagogue. (Keep in mind folks, this is the same vomit spewer who lead the charge against DWP. Those of you who joined forces on that embarrassing spectacle, here's the kind of guy you allowed to whip up your passions, Peter King.)

If there were orgies, what business is it of yours, Mr. King?

Some of the stunts these career politics pull usually don't amaze me anymore. But this guy is basically saying that he knows of illegal use of taxpayer money but won't do anything about it unless he can extort more taxpayer money for "himself".

Didn't these people have parents who taught them right from wrong? Some of them apparently don't have much more in the way of honesty than a common criminal does.

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Peter King is lashing out at his fellow Republicans in Washington after Homeland Security Czar Michael Chertoff cut anti-terrorism funding for New York City, warning Thursday morning that unless the cuts are restored, he'll launch an investigation into what he called "orgies" involving CIA agents at the Watergate hotel.

If there were orgies taking place, they should be investigated, and that is irrelevant to the funding issue.

King is demanding a bribe.

It's a tough job Carl, but someone has to do it.

Sounds like blackmail to me. That's a felony. I believe a Justice Department inquiry is in order.

Both houses of Congress now contain so many members who are shameless, corrupt, immoral, amoral and/or traitorous that bribery, threats and blackmail against each other or government department heads are now proudly and loudly proclaimed to the citizenry at large.

How much lower can these animals get?

(.......don't reply. I know the answer)

Mind you, it wouldn't be the first time the federal government provided prostitutes. When James Madison was Secretary of State, a delegation from Tunis demanded they be provided with "concubines." Madison obtained them, had the Department of State pay for them, and had the expenses listed as "Expenses for foreign intercourse."
