Psilyclbin Mushrooms, Bags Of Marijuana Also In Car
GREEN, Ore. -- Three California youths had their road trip interrupted when a bong fell from their car at the feet of a policeman during a traffic stop. An Oregon State trooper pulled the car over Thursday near the Douglas County town of Green.
Police said the large drug pipe fell out as 18-year-old Benjamin Breiner of Berkeley, Calif., opened the car door.
The trooper said he found a bag of psilycybin mushrooms and several bags of marijuana.
One occupant, 19-year-old Michael Fox of Oakland, Calif., told the officer he had a California medical marijuana card, but the card is not valid in Oregon.
Breiner and another occupant were cited for alcohol charges and released.
Fox was jailed on drug charges.

If they had made it to Eugene they would have fit right into Berkley North.

Sorry!
I can't help but laugh!
At least in '74 we had way better excuses!
The bong never went in the car, and everything had to fit under the seats when the windows were open!

And what was he doing with a card, anyway?

It's funny enough it took place in Green, CA. But not as funny as it would have been if they were caught in Weed, CA...8^)

This is news? Not exactly life altering for most of us, but it is good for a chuckle and as a way to show how medical marijuana is going over in California.
