A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

There is a Cute Little House Wren that Perches Periodically by my Kitchen Window, and I Feel All Warm and Fuzzy when I See him and Hear his Sweet Song. I Believe that Birds are Glorifying our Lord whenever they Sing, Praising His Majesty with their Beautiful Melodies.

Good afternoon! Thanks for the picture and the greetings.
It's beautiful in South Carolina - sunny and cool and I had a good long swim this morning.
Hope it's beautiful where you are and you're enjoying the day.

There is a wren who likes to 'talk' to my missus.
And if my spiderplant is outside he borrows dead leaves from it for his nest.

"Go Navy!" I notice Americans use that expression a lot when cheering a sports team on or showing support for someone.
To an English girl it seems rather strange I wonder where it orginated.

Lol, I haven't had that Happen to me, but the Resident Mockingbirds were Forever Scolding my Sweet Kitty, when he was still Here.
This Little Wren Probably has a House Nearby, because he is Singing from Tree to Tree All Around the Place. What a Cheering Song he has!

A wren nest looks like a hanging 'snag'.
It is a dangling basket woven to a branch.
Her wren does this little hopping dance while bobbing his tail.
Then he looks at her like she's supposed to say or do something.
Sometimes it sounds like he's saying "Merri-lee merri-lee merri-lee merri-lee" as he does his hop dance.
