(((((Hugs))))) to All the Finest!
There is a wren who likes to 'talk' to my missus.
And if my spiderplant is outside he borrows dead leaves from it for his nest.
Aw, what a cute little thing! I just love to watch the birds up close. We had one that built a nest on the wreath on our front door (glass panes, so we could watch it from the building of the nest, to sitting on the eggs, to the eggs hatching, and finally the first flight of the new baby! (Only one baby bird survived long enough to fly away)
I agree, Kitty Mittens, and here in VT at least they usher in "the Season of Singing!" We Vermonters know warmth and sun and length of daylight, the sweet smell of thawing earth and the savory sight of green and growing things - all this is carried on the wings of the songs of the returning birds!
When I think of how the birds so praise God, and how the trees of the forest will "clap their hands," and how the rocks themselves would have "cried out" had not the people shouted hosannas to the Son of David, then I take hold of every moment I have to use my life and breath to praise my Lord and God!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!!! (Psalm 150)
I've found that despite all that is going on in our world I've had an almost constant smile lately because I so know my Lord (and so trust Him) and so oft see Him at His work! I make melody in my heart to the Lord almost constantly, like a bride humming to herself as she prepares for her wedding ceremony...My prince is coming!
(PS- Friends know that I am "a clapper" (: When I hear of the work of the Lord or want to celebrate Him I can't help but give Him applause!)
(PPS - I should add that I have been virtually pain-free for months now, and the relief of that lifted burden alone is enough to cause outrageous rejoicing! This is my prayer for you, dear one. Because I learned to praise under that weight - and other extremities, too - having now had the weight reduced my praise is almost uncontainable: how He uses everything and truly works it all together for good and glory!)
I just love the pic you posted!
