BUSH SET FOR IMMIGRATION SPEECH WHITE HOUSE President Bush is getting set for a prime-time speech on Aides note the 8 p-m, Eastern Time, speech will be the president's first from the Oval Office that does not involve Iraq and the war on terrorism. And they say that reflects Bush's He's speaking as the Senate is poised to clear a compromise measure including his idea for a guest worker program. However, a rival House bill is limited to a border crackdown, and meshing the two won't be easy. Stand Up For America ! |
We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Good find Enchi...
We've all been lam blasting the RINO's that have sold America out. In retrospect, it would be only right to give praise, and encouragement to Republican congressmen/women, and senators that support tough illegal immigration legislation, like HR 4437. All it takes, is a few clicks and an email.
We need more good guys, less bad ones.
Dump the bums out; keep the good ones, get conservatives elected.
We must work to defeat each and every one of them.
I believe that the Senate immigration bill was written by La Raza. Kennedy is too dumb to have written it.....he could hardly read from the book in front of him.
I want to know just who wrote that bill.
The deck is stacked against us.
Kennedy's staffers wrote the bill. One can also see they were heavily lobbied by La Raza, et al.
Snip: an English translation of the Article 33 of the 1917 Mexican constitution:
Chapter III - Foreigners
Article 33. Foreigners are those who do not possess the qualifications set forth in Article 30. They are entitled to the guarantees granted by Chapter I, Title I, of the present Constitution; but the Federal Executive shall have the exclusive power to compel any foreigner whose remaining he may deem inexpedient to abandon the national territory immediately and without the necessity of previous legal action.
Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country.
And I'll bet Mexico would actuallt enforce these laws.
The Beltway Boys are also on board with thinking that we "common foke" are dumb as a rock. Fred Barnes can kiss my American ass. If he is Conservative and looking out for American first. I am the exact opposite of him!

I hope you are right about Sensenbrenner.
Here is another piece alluding to compromise from him. This is from Boston.com the Boston Globe so I am skeptical about is accuracy. However at this moment my trust in any this is suspect. Talk is cheap...
"Sensenbrenner said a proposal such as Pence's could have merit because it does not contain a special path to citizenship."

JD when you have a link to what uproar is causing please post it, we cannot ream him without the backup proof, thanks!

Snippets: Perhaps as high as 80% of the violent crime in Phoenix area involves illegal aliens (according to Chief Hurt and Mesa police violent crimes response team)
Illegal Aliens cost taxpayers $68 Billion annually in federal programs in 2002. Studies estimate that amnesty would increase that three fold.
$311 Billion in uncollected taxes (Barron's study). $200 Billion annually in lost American wages. Native-born American men lost an average of $1700 in wages in 2000 due to US immigration policy (Harvard University).
Maricopa County Hospital loses over $2 million weekly on uncompensated care (largely do to illegal aliens) (2003, 77 border hospitals filed for bankruptcy).
Feds owe $25 million in uncompensated SCAAP costs just in Maricopa County, (1/3 of our federal prisons are illegal aliens).
Arizona spends over $800 million (K 12) annually to educate illegals.
Over half of AHCCCS births are from illegal mothers 1/3 of children in Arizona have immigrant parents.
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion." Article IV Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution.
Today, the majority of these elected officials are in violation of their oath of office, with severe consequences to their law abiding U.S. citizen constituents.

Bill ignores critical issues By James Sensenbrenner
The 9/11 reform bill is currently snagged by the Senate's refusal to address three critical issues: Should states continue to issue driver's licenses to illegal aliens? Should we tighten our asylum system that terrorists exploited to such deadly effect? Have we ensured the military chain of command is not broken in our intelligence restructuring?
