I need to remember to check out Gibson's show. I heard it once (even called in) and it was pretty good. If I can get into it, I may not cancel my XM subscrition, which I got JUST for Tony Snow!!
Funny, all the MSM types attacking NSA's methods and the Prez in his radio address mentioning it as the biggest qualifier for Hayden's CIA directorship something like a challenge. Very interesting.
Thanks rod, my pleasure.
Thanks Anita,
And your point about the Prez saying this is why he is qualified is all tying this together.
You see the Conservatives want this fight because they know it is a winner for them. The Democrats need to keep the lunatic fringe happy so they have to also have this fight but they need it framed properly so they also get some normal Americans to give them a look. And the newspapers are more than willing to sensationalize it to give the Democrats cover....that way they look good to their lunatic base while they won't like nuts to the rest of the counrty.
But if you ask me the more the Democrats talk the more they just look like back-seat drivers.
ROFLMAO.....Funniest post I have seen in a LONG TIME...and this site NEEDS funny right now...Thank you
I agree .. I've been listen to his show at night for the last couple of weeks
I think I could (beat the crap out of NealJ)
Although men are generally stronger and he is younger, I'm sure he has a deadly fear of physical pain and my adrenline would carry the day.
Repubs best look at the NE Gov race -- (I know, I know, nobody cares about a super red fly over state). Had three good candidates there, no major objections to any of them. Dr Tom looked like a shoe-in (God in Nebraska) until Gov Heineman came out a the only one against in state tuition for illegals. Nabity (who never had much of a chance) and Osborne both dropped like a rock.
Got a mention in the "Who's up/down" on the Beltway Boys, but Fred gave the wrong reasons why.
And you are right not to trust them. Palast, however, thinks that the Republicans have rigged the last two elections and the next one as well.
OT but I just got home. Had you heard that Kennedy's plane got struck by lightening? LOL
As long as the government gets out of the marriage business, fine with me. But to keep things in perspective, it is unmarried young heterosexual mothers who are 99+% of the problem. And in those single mothers' defense, they are only acting rationally according to the incentives the governement lays out for them.
The visa refusal rate in most of the less developed countries is very high. There are 27 countries in the visa wavier program that don't require visas to come here. It would be interesting to learn what countries these visa overstayers come from and what kind of visas they were issued. I think there are far more than 11 million illegals in the US. The number is closer to 20 million.
"And in those single mothers' defense, they are only acting rationally according to the incentives the governement lays out for them."
True.
Yes. I have no comment. Safer that way.
Sorry,I thought that's what I was doing!I wasn't being facetious!!
Interesting point with the visa waiver program the I-94W visa is NONcovertable to any other class of visa. Only the I-94 is convertable to another status (ie marry us citizen, student, etc.)
The path to citizenship is 100% amnesty.
Was there a pun embedded there? :)
She is a good person and no one thinks so more than she......(yes, a little katty sisterliness there!) There was always something of an unspoken rivalry(?) between us. Of course, I was always right being that my point-of-view was right-leaning...
The key here is the libs don't believe this is a time of war. It's everything from a police action to "Bush's War". Not a real war that has real impacts for most of them in their enclaves, their Ivory Towers, and in east and west coast isolation from the rest of the country and the real world. Therefore its business as usual for them, do whatever, say whatever, in an attempt to regain power. US Military loses in Iraq or Afghanistan? Unfortunate but blame Bush not the insurgents who are bravely defending themselves against American occupation (Some of the more radical ones probably secretly hope for more US deaths as a way to get more Code Pink/ANSWER activists to demonstrate against the war; they wish for the same success Kerry did in the early 70's). Al-Qaeda? A small group of fanatics who are being pushed into more fanatical acts of terror by the US and our war to gain control of Middle East oil. Etc., etc., etc. Because we aren't in a real war, everything we libs do to harm Bush and the administration (NSA leaks, media's negative stories from Iraq, etc.) is perfectly fine with them and their press enablers.
