I am a death penalty proponent, but in this slime's case, considering that he wants to die as a martyr, I think this is the better outcome. Either way, whether he is on death row or life in prision, we will be hearing from the ACLU and lefties for years to come regarding this piece of crap.

Not at the expense of making us look weak. I dont care how bad his punishment is. Putting him to death would have send a more clear message to terrorists that are not in custody.

I'm so ambivalent here. I want him dead. I want him to suffer. I don't want him martyred. I want him dead. I'm hoping that he gets released into the general population in some nasty hard-core prison, gets raped over and over then nailed with a shank.
