Isn't that funny? Most American so called journalists stationed in Baghdad can't seem to find their way out of the protection of the Green Zone provided by our Troops whom they daily disrespect with their BS reports.

Thanks, Radix, for the pictures of our troops doing what they do. Please, God, let loved ones see loved ones.

Semper Fi, Ma'am!! :-)

I was never in the Marines (or any other branch of the military, for that matter), but my brother and one of my favorite people in the world were both in the Marines. Does that qualify me to say "Semper Fi" backatcha? ;)

You still awake?

(I used to work with a guy who'd say that on PD pay, his idea of a luxury vacation was "a six-pack and a trip to Slabtown.") ;)

Good morning, Jemian. Can I come too?

Occasionally...LOL!! I wonder sometimes how such cities get their names.

You most definitely may. I will be there in August and will welcome a dive buddy. I want to warn you though, when I say deserted I mean deserted. There are no bathrooms, little stores nearby or anything. The jungle starts about 10 yards off the shoreline. But I love it.

I think I can handle all those conditions. Snorkeling? Scuba?

Yes to both. You need to bring your own equipment sans tanks. We can borrow them from some of my friends for a small refill fee. We'll take an outboard outrigger and all supplies. They'll drop us off early and pick us up a little before sundown. If we're carefful we might get three dives in but probably only two. During the surface interval we can snorkle.

Can you see me drooling from there? I haven't been diving in years and years. You are going to have a wonderful time. A picture or 2 would be nice. Is this a yearly excursion?
