Life long republican - Drive by troll

All my life, I believed in Republican values -- individual responsibility and limited government. Then it happened; I found myself with a small child, unemployed and disabled. I turned to my church, and after years of regular tithes, suddenly I just wasn't their problem. My Republican friends? I was now a pariah to them.
My only relief was to turn to government assistance for housing, food, and other needs and I was able to survive with dignity.
So chalk me up as one who no longer drinks the GOP koolaid.

Even though your post is one big fat lie from an ignorant lib, let me clue you in on something.
Republicans do not believe in withholding assistance from those in real need. There are many (legitimate)people who fall on hard times and have no where to turn. Your insinuation that Republicans would just leave these folks on the street to die is ludicrous, but then that's par on the liberal course.

Go back to your chuch and ask them to help you.
Shame them. Believers are supposed to support those who are members who are hurting. Believers are supposed to care for the members of the flock first, tell them that.
Then ask them if they are believers.
You may not like the answers, but you also might be overreacting to things the church said. You also might wake them up.
Not every trial is for the person to learn, but sometimes for the assembly to learn.
